Re: Indian Movies Thread
the man is a self-proclaimed, self-appointed, self-publicized "intellectual" and a legend in his own fundamental islamic mind. Sir, any person proclaiming himself as an intellectual is always suspect of having enough understanding to barely function in society. Going on a tangent, social sciences o...

Re: Non-Indian Films discussion thread...
I found Bright a total waste of time, with usual bladderdash of fantasy, magic, and make-belief. Like you said it was not riveting. I think it turned out to be total crap because lot of verbal references to historical events made without giving the viewer any visual insights. It ended up being very...

Watched Netflixs dark,a German original with English subs about time travel, similar to stranger things in the beginning but is treated differently, excellent cinematography, nice music, good acting. though writing is loose in a couple of places.extremely bingeworthy.

http://www.realclearlife.com/nightlife/post-weinstein-world-sex-parties-provide-safe-space-women/ The organization who is ultimately responsible for bringing us to this state of affairs has to be commended, there is an acceptable society and a "morally reprehensible"one which have co-existed along w...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
As far as Gujarat goes, I know a bjp worker who is convinced of the party getting a 140+ seats. Apparently they had a meeting with AS and the workers are pumped up about the arithmetic. Accordingly, they will do badly in middle Gujarat/mehsana and surrounding districts, east and south will be a swee...

Re: Nukkad
If the creation of an equal world is desired, then accepting responsibility is also an aspect, people cannot cry victimhood X years later when many were complicit at the time. Predators cannot continue predating if the hapless simply refuse. The campaign is called metoo, not me alone or me first. If...

I am finding it increasingly difficult to make life decisions without the intervention of the government. Pls. help me with the following queries: 1) Now that I have money left, should I donate it all to any institution or will there be a notified list of pre approved NGOs? 2) Is the thread on my wr...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
The entry of the upholders where angels fear to tread sets of a dangerous precedent. The law of the land should be iron, if everyone starts flouting it willy-nilly, then it sets into motion the wheel of revolution where the people do not accept the authority of the state. Sure it can be couched in v...

I think that this is not enough, what about the excess lights that are turned on during that time, light pollution, animal blindness, mild discomfort to the spastics, who will speak out for them? Water is wasted only during Holi, it is known, but the silent killer is the minute particles of gulaal, ...
