derek no brain speaking on the CAB in parliament today.

The Citizenship Amendment bill after getting a clear passage in the Lok Sabha on December 9 has been tabled today in the Rajya Sabha. The usual elements from the Opposition side have been debating on how the bill is ‘anti-Indian’ and ‘unconstitutional’.

However, in their haste to oppose the bill, TMC MP Derek O Brien slipped up and ended up justifying why the Citizenship Amendment Bill is necessary and the rationale behind it by citing an example of his own family.

TMC leader and member of the Rajya Sabha, Derek O’ Brien, in his speech in the Rajya Sabha today, was all out criticising the Modi government and its decision to bring in the Citizenship Amendment Bill which seeks to grant citizenship to persecuted minorities belonging to the three neighbouring Islamic countries – Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

While he spoke on how the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill will be separating people from their nation, and that this bill is anti-Bengali and anti-Indian, towards the end of his speech he gave the example of his own family.

The TMC leader said that a part of his family who went to West Pakistan during the partition in 1947, have either migrated to Canada or US or had to convert to Islam. By divulging this bitter truth about his own family, Derek O’ Brien inadvertently, goes on to prove exactly why implementing the Citizenship Amendment bill becomes necessary.

He said that his family members who were left behind in Pakistan had to convert to Islam.

This is exactly what happens to the Hindu minorities living in Pakistan, Bangladesh or Afghanistan which the government attempts to pull the plugs on, by introducing this bill. CAB becomes necessary so that such minority Hindu’s can be saved from this forced persecution, in the neighbouring countries, on the pretext of their religion.

The proposed legislation applies to those who were forced to seek shelter in India due to persecution on the ground of religion. It aims to protect such people from proceedings of illegal migration. The cut-off date for citizenship is December 31, 2014, which means the applicant should have entered India on or before that date.

Religious discrimination is a serious issue in modern-day Pakistan and other neighbouring Islamic countries. Attacks on religious minorities in these countries have claimed hundreds of lives. Women belonging to minority communities have been targets of forced conversions rape and forced marriages

Today I was with Hindus who came from Pakistan. still, CAB is in process in Rajyasabha but they are really happy. They are celebrating and saying at least there is a government that is thinking about them. They are celebrating it the day it passed in Loksbha. they all still saying whatever happens they will not leave India. After talking to Sonadas (leader of the community) he told that they came in 2011. They left everything behind but they are happy because they are in their own country. They left their properties and many more things. Some Hindu organizations like Hindu Mahasabha helped them a lot. They have named a newly born daughter as "NAGRIKTA" which means Citizenship. They are really happy and looking forward to the result. They are really appreciating BJP'S efforts. Here sharing a picture of Dayashankar from them. https://twitter.com/creativeaatma/statu ... 37/photo/1

This time india got a great home minister. He put his stand very clear and he knows how to solve the problems. Whatever BJP has promised in their manifesto they are fulfilling it. Amit shah is really concern about Hindus. He always put his stand for Hindus. I hope very soon he will come with a bill for HINDU NATION. I think next target is NRC.

Years later, people cannot believe Modi made a year like 2019 happen.

Balakot
Abhinandan return
303
370
Ram Mandir
Corporate tax cut
Citizenship Bill

Most leaders would give anything to achieve just one of these.
But Modi did ALL of these in just 2019.

Trump says US will prioritize Christian refugees

Trump says US will prioritize Christian refugees

By Daniel Burke, CNN Religion Editor

Mon January 30, 2017

Story highlights
Trump did not name a reason or offer any evidence about why the agencies that vet refugees

A Pew study found 99% of the nearly 12,600 Syrians granted refugee status last year were Muslims

Washington(CNN) President Donald Trump said in a new interview Friday that persecuted Christians will be given priority over other refugees seeking to enter the United States, saying they have been "horribly treated."

Speaking with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Trump said that it had been "impossible, or at least very tough" for Syrian Christians to enter the United States.

"If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair -- everybody was persecuted, in all fairness -- but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians. And I thought it was very, very unfair. So we are going to help them."

Trump did not name a reason or offer any evidence about why the agencies that vet refugees, including the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department, would have prioritized Muslim refugees over Christians.

According to a report by the non-partisan Pew Research Center, however, 99% of the nearly 12,600 Syrians granted refugee status last year were Muslims. Less than 1% were Christian. Syria's population is 87% Muslim and 10% Christian, according to the CIA World Fact Book.

Also on Friday, Trump signed an executive order explicitly freezing refugee applications from Syria. It's unclear how his pledge to help persecuted Christians from that country will accord with the order.

The United States admitted a record number of 38,901 Muslim refugees in 2016, according to a study conducted by Pew. But nearly the same number of Christians, 37,521 were also admitted.

At the same time, many Christian groups that resettle refugees in the United States decry the persecution of their brethren overseas, but said the country should not give favor to fellow Christians or bar Muslims.

"We would resist that strongly," Scott Arbeiter, president of World Relief, the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals and one of nine agencies that partner with the federal government to resettle refugees.

"Some of the most vulnerable people in the world right now are Muslims. If we say no Muslim should be let in, we are denying the humanity and dignity of people made in the image of God."

Arbeiter said he and his group have tried unsuccessfully to meet with the new Trump administration to discuss refugee policy.

A study conducted by the libertarian Cato Institute found that between 1975-2015, the United States admitted approximately 700,000 asylum-seekers and 3.25 million refugees. Four asylum-seekers and 20 refugees later became terrorists and launched attacks on US soil.

"The chance of being murdered in a terrorist attack committed by an asylum-seeker was one in 2.73 billion a year," wrote the study's author, Alex Nowrasteh. "The chance of being murdered in a terrorist attack committed by a refugee is one in 3.64 billion a year."

Have you ever thought why communist hate Hinduism and Indian civilization so much?

Answer is simple.

It is because of theirProphet ‘Karl Marx’.See the views of Karl Marx about Hinduism. He wrote in the New-York Herald Tribune-

(1)”that they transformed a self-developing social state into never changing natural destiny, and thus brought about a brutalizing worship of nature, exhibiting its degradation in the fact that man,the sovereign of nature, fell down on his knees in adoration of Kanuman(Hanuman),the monkey, and Sabbala, the cow”.

Can you imagine how derogatory it is!

These writings provide a valid reason to communists to hate any thing that is Hindu in nature.Because they are ardent follower of their Prophet ‘Karl Marx’.So how can they ignore the message of Hindu hatred.

Let’s leave Hindus.Take a look of Prophet Karl Marx views about British rule.

He is glorifying British rule by saying that it produced the greatest social revolution in Asia.

Can you imagine, how a man can be so insensible that he is glorifying the job-losses of weaver and spinner which ultimately produced mass-poverty among these people as a Greatest revolution!

Look what exactly he said.-

(2)”English interference having placed the spinner in Lancashire and the weaver in Bengal, or sweeping away both Hindoo spinner and weaver, dissolved these small semi-barbarian semi- civilized, communities, by blowing up their economical basis, and thus produced the greatest, and to speak the truth, the only social revolution ever heard of in Asia.”

(3)England has to fulfill a double mission in India: one destructive, the other regenerating the annihilation of old Asiatic society, and the laying the material foundations of Western society in Asia.

Lutyens challenged the Ayodhya verdict and fanned fear of Hindutva. But lost the case & the credibility too.

The Supreme Court has dismissed the petitions seeking review of its November 9 Ayodhya verdict.

A review can be only filed on two grounds.

1. Apparent on the face of the record.
2. Discovery of a new material fact.

Both of which were not there in Ayodhya case. There are some people whose ‘divide & rule’ politics couldn’t be furthered & they were the ones behind this review petition & today that has failed too, and the anti-Hindu mindset has become the narrative as has been propagated & promoted in India by the Gandhi-Nehru family & Communists

Read the full article. It has many more details

Who is instigating violence in colleges: Congress, NSUI, a sinister WhatsApp group and anti-CAA protests

The violent protests were mainly limited to Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia University. There was stone-pelting, some news of petrol bombs being hurled by the 'students', and sloganeering that would put the stone-pelters of Kashmir to shame. We heard slogans of 'Hinduon se Azaadi' and posters of "Khilafat 2.0".

NUPUR J SHARMA
DECEMBER 16, 2019

Investigation: Congress, a secret WhatsApp group and anti-CAA protests

The Citizenship Amendment Bill after being passed in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha got the President’s assent and has now become a law. The Act (CAA) seeks to provide citizenship to the persecuted minorities of neighbouring Islamic countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The opposition to this Act has come from very specific quarters. It perhaps seems ‘widespread’ because the news is everywhere on Social Media and rightly so. However, while the bill has received widespread support, it becomes essential to analyse where the violent opposition (anti-CAA protests) to it has emanated from, why, and most importantly, who might be instigating it.

One of the first violent ‘protests’ that we heard of was from the state of West Bengal. Violent Muslim mobs ran amuck ransacking and vandalising property. Running riots and damaging public property. The videos are several, but the message is the same – even a perceived injustice against the majority Muslims of Pakistan is going to strike a chord with Islamists in India. I saw ‘perceived’ because, in actual terms, there has been absolutely no injustice meted out to them by India as far as the Citizenship Amendment Act is concerned. This Act doesn’t concern Indian Muslims and it certainly has no power to ‘discriminate’ against Muslims who are a majority in Islamic nations.

Then, we saw violent protests at several Universities. Students protesting for a cause is perhaps the most powerful image and the purpose is multifold – while it generally gives the impression of ‘organic protests’ taking place, any action by the law enforcement against violent ‘students’ is met with criticism. The violent protests were mainly limited to Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia University. There was stone-pelting, some news of petrol bombs being hurled by the ‘students’, and sloganeering that would put the stone-pelters of Kashmir to shame. We heard slogans of ‘Hinduon se Azaadi’ and posters of “Khilafat 2.0”.

Soon, a dangerous narrative was being spun with several elements inciting violence, lying to make rioting “students” appear as victims of police brutality and calls for more colleges to join in.

One had to wonder, how is this well-oiled machinery coordinating? How are all of them saying the same thing at the same time so effectively and efficiently? Who is spearheading the campaign to co-ordinate, incite violence, spread misinformation, and who are the hidden hands that are helping these “students” when they eventually run into trouble with law enforcement? It is evident that these “students” who are running riot aren’t really scared about how they would get out of trouble should the police arrest them.

The Whatsapp group for Anti-CAA protests

While speaking to several students and trying to find the answers to these questions, I was sworn to secrecy and added to a Whatsapp group that was called “Anti-CAA Protest (Law St)”. The Display Picture of the group clearly states that this group was for coordination and planning of protests against CAA in Law Universities. Specifically mentioned was that this group was made for coordination and not ‘debate or discussion’.

exactly which law is it that prohibits the police from entering any aira gaira university to tackle law and order situations.

This is being quoted by all (especially naxal, commie and kattarpanthi jehadi VCs and illiterate university administrators) and sundry as some sort of fundamental constitutional right that just cannot be violated

what the hell is so special about a university or a vice chancellor that makes them so sacrosanct.

javed akhtar, enlightened legal eagle, benighted plenipotentiary at large of global democracy, except when it comes to jehadi muslims everywhere
“According to the law of the land, under any circumstances, police can not enter any university campus without the permission of the university authorities. By entering the Jamia campus without permission, police have created a precedent that is a threat to every university,” Akhtar tweeted.
Before long, a decorated IPS officer, Sandeep Mittal, sardonically questioned Javed Akhtar to enlighten him about the law of the land, the section number and the name of the Act he is referring to while asserting that the police have broken the law by entering the Jamia university without seeking permission from the authorities.

“Dear Legal expert, Please elaborate on the law of the land, the section number and the name of the Act etc so we are also enlighted,” Mittal retorted.

Stumped by Mittal’s riposte, Javed clammed up, not responding any further about the details sought by IPS Mittal.

As The Truth Behind Violent Protests Against CAA Unravels, India Won’t Be Fooled Anymore

As The Truth Behind Violent Protests Against CAA Unravels, India Won’t Be Fooled Anymore

A mobster acting at the behest of his political masters.
Image
A mobster acting at the behest of his political masters.

Snapshot
It is now clear that the motive for the violence had nothing to do with the letter of the CAA.

It was, in fact, an opportunity for the political has-beens to desperately plead for relevance.

But with the massive mandate given to Narendra Modi and Co., India has unequivocally declared that she will not be fooled by divisive politics anymore.

The recent passing of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), allowing for the naturalization of persecuted non-Muslim minorities from neighboring Islamic Republics — Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan — was followed, inter alia, by grisly protests in Assam, West Bengal and New Delhi.

All three turned violent. But there the similarities end — both with regard to causative factors, and to responses. And in such differences lies the point of this piece.

In Guwahati, the agitators were Assamese-speaking Hindus in a BJP-ruled state, protesting against the naturalization of Bengali-speaking Hindus from Bangladesh.

Curfew was imposed, but when things got out of hand, the police had to resort to firing, and four individuals were killed. Since then, the situation appears to have calmed down, and, in the words of state Home Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the state is ‘limping back to normalcy’.

In West Bengal, wild mobs, in a fearsome madness reminiscent of ‘Direct Action Day’, 1946, set trains and government buildings alight.

Instead of sternly clamping down on such ghastly crimes and miscreants with a heavy hand, Chief Minister Banerjee’s most visible response was to take out a solidarity march.

Oddly, the only sane voice was the Mayor of Calcutta, who candidly told his co-religionists to cease and desist with their vandalism, lest their acts incense and galvanise Hindus into a counter-reaction. The appeal worked.

The strangest protest was in and around Jamia Millia University, New Delhi, where thugs armed with sticks and stones roamed the streets, vandalizing public transport buses.

Molotov cocktails, worthy of commendation by their Finnish inventors, were employed to torch vehicles.

On campus, students took the law into their own hands and threw stones at the police. Other large groups congregated for a round of choleric ‘Azadi’ chants — freedom from various evils.

The list included Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and also, by some accounts, Hindus.

It made no sense. Why would Indian Muslims in the national capital descend into violent protests, against a Citizenship Act that had nothing to do with Indian Muslims?

West Bengal one could understand, at a pinch, because illegal Muslim migrants from Bangladesh, who formed a significant vote base for certain political parties, now ran the risk of being collectively disenfranchised. But Delhi locals smashing public property? Nuts!

Indeed, nothing made sense until the Communists, the Congress, and a few other opposition parties held a joint press conference on Monday afternoon.

Together, they gravely, solemnly and forcefully condemned police entry into the Jamia campus.

The perils of such a cardinal sin were reiterated by speaker after speaker, to such a high degree of moral superiority, that every sane citizen would have stood up to demand the immediate disbanding of the Delhi Police force.

It was a command performance meriting a standing ovation and an encore. Unfortunately, amidst their elaborately self-righteous proclamations, they had not one word of condemnation for the vandalism and the arson.

Only Delhi Police was at fault, no one else; the rest were victims of a macabre, fascist plot.

That was when the penny dropped!

Now everything made sense. No wonder the rumour bazaars went into clearance-sale mode, flooding social media with frightful fibs of two dead students on campus. No wonder reports of protests at IIM Ahmedabad were hyped up as a major agitation, even if a picket line of twenty five (yes, twenty five), does not much a grand protest make.

And equally, no wonder the Supreme Court was livid. When approached with pleas for inquiries into alleged police highhandedness, our judges bluntly said that suo moto cognizance would be taken only — repeat, only — after the rioting ended.

If only these Opposition politicians had kept their mouths shut. Perhaps then, the naïve natives might have believed that these acts of vandalism were noble manifestations of genuine outrage, against some terrible, horrible injustice.

But with their pontifications, the cat was out of the bag.

So, now that we know, here are three questions:

When is vandalism not vandalism? Answer: when significant political gains stand to be made.

What unhinged mentality would cheer violent campus agitations, when the legislation in question has no connection whatsoever with the citizenship status of Indian Muslims? Answer: see answer to question 1 above.

Evidently, the 2019 general election results formed a far more fundamental paradigm point than most realised. With a renewed, and enhanced, mandate for the BJP, hopes that Modi might have been a one-off flash-in-the-pan have evaporated. An India which rejects the evils of partition, of the division of this ancient land on lines of faith, is here to stay.

Thekedar-raj, the era of the contractor, is over. Minority appeasement is no longer in vogue. And to force the point home, India has witnessed a flurry of legislative acts, which seek to comprehensively undo two things: an idea of India bequeathed to us by dead white men, and the erasure of those terminological inexactitudes which gave us partition instead of Independence.

It is now an existential moment of doubtful survival for such political parties. Ergo: the self-righteous condonation of vandalism, almost to the self-destructive point of it being one’s birthright; anything to hold on to the old ways, and those generous profits which accrued.

Consequently, readers, observers, commentators and analysts must unequivocally appreciate, in conclusion, that the full and final dismantling of a two-nation theory, which once agonizingly partitioned our land into a period of repeated communal carnage, is now firmly underway.

This process cannot be stopped, no matter how loudly certain political parties stridulate their protests, and no matter what sophist’s spin they seek to impart.

But they will try, again, and again, and again, even if the truth is what we know: that vandalism is no one’s birthright.

Care then, to hold in mind this and other truths, as we transit through a confusing age, unto a fresh and hopeful plane. Care then.

Really disturbing situation all across India. I think what is most disturbing is the fact that this is been brought out to play against the completely Hindu Muslim agenda again. So much so that the core principle of actually trying to protect refugee Hindus has been absolutely thrown out of the window. Of course the media also turns a blind eye to the complete and absolute violence that has been exhibited by Islamic groups. All we can see are violent protests all over India almost like a Palestinian situation or intifida.

Why? Because it seems that India cannot be a nation that accepts refugee Hindus but this must include refugee Muslims as well. Everybody's memory seems to short when it seems that we have long throughout history been a victim of Islamic terrorism.
Much too often unfortunately this garb of terror has no religion has been bought completely hooked line and sinker by the general populace. Unfortunately 3-4 generation Hindus are now chucking rocks at their own brethren all because of a brainwashed Jihadi ideology.

What can be more of a Mahabharat scene then this? It is unfortunate to see that no doubt that we all pine for our own brethren and to some extent our own citizens as well. However when the same brainwashed are now chucking stones as well as destroying public property and taking on school buses, what choice does the state have but not to act? When the state does act, the whole media force tries to spin it as a state versus student scenario and suppression of human rights. Never eefore have I seen such a confused and blatant disregard of the law only to be spun as violation of human rights by the media.

Will any Bollywood actors talk about that school bus that was ransacked and burned? No, they would rather talk about the inequality as well as suffering that the minority communities have to endure. Nothing of substance, all emotion. You will hear hours of speech about how we should be talking and not fighting. None of these Bollywood fools would ever venture into the these countries where Hindu refugees are pouring across the border. Spend a month there and I'm sure many of them would be clamoring to come back.

Produced quite a lot of videos over the last few days on our YouTube channel India Aware. Please take a look and see if there's anything else that we can add. We do have quite a lot of links to the Hindu Mahasabha and Kaushikji as been quite defiant as well as outspoken in all of these videos really trying to explain our thought process as we so often discuss. Anything we can do to spread the word on our social media sites, please let us know.

Does this merit the hyperbolic reaction?

The Enemy Within the Gates – the Indian Republic Faces an Existential Threat

The Enemy Within the Gates – the Indian Republic Faces an Existential Threat

The CAA has little ambiguity and scope for multiple interpretations. Despite this simplicity and transparency, what we have seen in the last few days is a Machiavellian and insidious exercise of distortion and perfidy.

jay@bhattc.net' Jay Bhattacharjee
20-12-2019

The wide-spread political agitation and violence that the country has seen in the last few days, after the passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB) 2019 by both houses of Parliament and its approval by the President, took many ordinary citizens and even sophisticated analysts / commentators by surprise. While some protests were expected, the scale and intensity of the reaction were clearly not envisaged. The state security machinery, starting with the police forces, was caught unprepared. The BJP-NDA parties, too, appeared to be in a state of shock and disarray, as the protests increased in intensity.

The only socio-political elements that were not caught on the back foot were the very ones that were igniting the wildfires and disseminating the virus throughout the country – no apologies for mixing metaphors. The Congress and its motley allies had obviously been preparing for this conflagration most meticulously. The foot soldiers in this semi civil-war scenario were also pumped up and raring to be let loose at the appointed times and places. The religious sanctuaries that indoctrinated and trained the rabid mobs and inspired them were very much at the centre of the events.

It should be pointed out that this writer, in the good company of some fellow-commentators, has been studying and assessing the present existential threat to India for a fairly long time and is not at all surprised by the incendiary (literally, in many cases) unrest that the country has seen in the last few days and will possibly continue to witness for some more time.

Ever since the tsunami of 2014, when the genuine Indic forces captured the seat of power in New Delhi for possibly the first time in history, I have advocated that a vigilant watch must be kept on forces that are basically inimical to our ancient society and civilisation. When the 2019 elections confirmed the pole position of the Indic forces in Raisina Hill, I ventured to point out that there was no room for complacency and the sentinels must continue to maintain their guard, [ii], [iii].

Before we go further, it will be apposite if we spend some time on understanding the basic facts of the CAB, which has now become the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA). The salient features of the CAA are so clear and transparent that readers should reflect deeply about the total deception and dishonesty of the agent provocateurs who have tried to set the country on fire. The sad truth is that they have actually managed to pull the wool over the eyes of many Indian citizens, who have not had either the time, patience or even the interest to get a grasp of the subject.

As far as the mainstream English media in India is concerned, their stand has been based on a deliberate misinterpretation of the statute. The same is true of many journals, newspapers and electronic media in the West. The roll call of dishonour in our country includes the usual suspects, ranging from The Hindu, The Times of India, The Indian Express, The Telegraph and their sister publications in Indian languages. The Western bandicoots comprise The New York Times, The Economist, and (you guessed it), the ever-execrable BBC.

I would, at this stage, like to briefly summarise the key and salient features of the CAA, although I feel that many readers are already familiar with what I will be spelling out:

(1) It is a legislation that is specifically meant for religiously-persecuted minorities in our three neighbouring countries, namely Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The specific wording of the law on this point is as follows : “Any person belonging to the Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi or Christian community from Afghanistan, Bangladesh or Pakistan and who has entered into India on or before the 31st day of December, 2014 and is staying here to safeguard their lives, shall not be treated as an illegal migrant.”

Yes, Muslims are not covered by this provision, simply because Muslims in these three countries are not subjected to religious persecution. One doesn’t have to be a quantum physicist to understand this point. Putting this in another perspective, those who demand that Muslims should be brought under the purview of this law are clearly deranged or perverse or both. The fact that some high-decibel opponents of CAA are now being over-smart on this point and asking for Shias and Ahmediyas to be bestowed the label of “persecuted” is clear proof that the entire opposition to the CAA is ersatz and manipulated.

Furthermore, Muslims from the three neighbouring countries, who face some other form of persecution / bias, can always seek entry into India under other existing laws on this subject. If eligible for entry to India, they can subsequently apply for citizenship under the naturalisation provision in Section 6 of the Citizenship Act.

(2) The mullahs in the mosques and the secularists in their pulpits (ranging from the watering holes of the India International Centre to other war fronts like JNU, Jamia Milia et al) are frothing that the CAA is against Indian Muslims. Surely, this should rank as one of the most grotesque pieces of distortion that one can possibly think of. Indian Muslims are already citizens of this country, having been born here, and there is no question whatsoever of their being asked to go through a citizenship acquisition process because of the CAA.

(3) Another point that is being harrumphed by the Muslim spokespersons, the mullahs in the mosques and the secularist-stormtroopers (SS) is that Shias, Ahmediyas, Hazaras, Balochis and Rohingyas should also have been included in the CAA, if the intention is to provide succour to victims of religious persecution.

It must be categorically pointed out to the disinformation brigade that all these groups are Muslim ethnic groups. They do not fall under the category of separate religions anywhere in the world. Since they are Muslim, they obviously do not qualify as minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, which are Islamic countries by law. Therefore, it is not possible to include these Muslim groups in the CAA, since it is specifically structured for religious minorities in those countries.

(4) The false-flag argument on the Balochis and Rohingyas is even more glaring and, therefore, simple to repudiate. The Baloch people do not want to immigrate to India but are fighting for an independent Balochistan. The Rohingyas are in a class of their own. They have a dismal record of targeting other minority groups (including Hindus) who stay in the Rakhine region of Myanmar. Their terror record is long and well – documented. Therefore, to include the Rohingyas, who pose a clear security threat to the country, under the CAA, would be a suicidal decision for the Government of India (GOI).

The CAA, as laws and statutes go, is a very clear and uncomplicated piece of legislation. It has little ambiguity and scope for multiple interpretation. Despite this simplicity and transparency, what we have seen in the last few days is a Machiavellian and insidious exercise of distortion and perfidy. The forces that did it and continue to do so are agents of instability and disorder as far as the Indian Republic and its venerable civilisation are concerned. What is being perpetrated is an attempted coup d’etat and nothing short of that. The speed with which the conflagration has spread to various parts of the country (and among various social groups) clearly point to this strategy.

This brings me to the core issue that needs to be understood by my readers and, if I say so, by the thinking segments in our country’s population. This is the role of disinformation and agitprop in bringing about socio-political instability and unrest in democracies by forces opposed to civic society and equality. I propose here to give detailed accounts of actual episodes in the recent past where democracies were systematically undermined and derailed by elites and oligarchies that were bitterly opposed to the legitimate governments of their countries.

The first episode I will deal with is the notorious “Zinoviev Letter” forgery used by the British Conservatives in the 1920s to destroy the electoral chances of the Labour Party for many decades. Despite repeated assertions by independent observers that the letter was a fabrication by the Tories, the British establishment maintained the fiction of a great Soviet conspiracy to plant the Red flag in Buckingham Palace. It took more than forty years for the truth to emerge incontrovertibly – the whole exercise had been planned and implemented by the British secret service and their henchmen in the Conservative party.

In this sordid episode, the parallels with the current Indian scenario are most interesting. In January 1924, the Labour Party formed a government in the U.K. for the first time, although it was a minority government, dependent on the support of the Tories and the Liberals. For a variety of reasons, the Labour government collapsed and a new election was scheduled for late October.

Just before the election, the rabidly reactionary rag-sheet, The Daily Mail published a letter purportedly written by a senior Soviet functionary, Grigory Zinoviev, to the Central Committee of the British Communist Party. It contained inflammatory passages that advocated armed revolt in Britain. The damning forgery put paid to the electoral prospects of the Labour Party and the Tories decisively won the elections in late October 1924.

Readers who are not fully au fait with this historical episode will find it very interesting to go through the following articles that give details about a disinformation campaign that changed the political scenario in an advanced European democracy. The parallels with what the destabilization forces are doing in India today will be glaring[iv], [v].

A much more tragic and poignant episode was the alleged Tukachevsky letter, a meticulously planned campaign by the German secret service in the 1930s to convince Stalin that the Soviet general staff was in collusion with the Nazis and plotting against Moscow. Now, Joseph Stalin, the role model and intellectual predecessor for Messrs. Prakash Karat, Sitaram Yechury et al, was a notoriously suspicious and distrusting megalomaniac who wanted to entrench his position in the Moscow power structure. When the respected Czechoslovak President Dr Benes forwarded to Stalin what he thought was evidence of treachery in the highest rungs of the Soviet Army, he unwittingly helped the latter to unleash the Great Purge. In one fell sweep, this decimated the armed forces of the USSR and handed Nazi Germany its greatest unarmed victory.

Thousands of senior Soviet officers, starting with Marshal Tukachevsky himself and key Generals and Colonels, were dragged to face hastily-assembled firing squads. Many died chanting the Internationale. When the blood-letting ended, it turned out that Stalin had exterminated more Marxists than the trio of Hitler, Himmler and Kaltenbrunner put together. The popular perception was that the whole thing was a plot by forces that wanted to weaken the Soviet Union and the letter was a forgery. However, the wily Georgian dictator’s propaganda machine drowned out the protests. It is only after the war that secret German archives clearly showed that the operation was planned and implemented by the Abwehr and the SD gang of Canaris and Heydrich, who duped Dr Benes to act as a conduit to Stalin.

Here too, the resemblances with events in our shores are uncanny. From dislodging an Army chief who was proving to be uncomfortably principled (and dismantling a highly-successful covert agency only because he had set it up) to hounding a military intelligence officer, all was par for the course for our desi maestros of destabilisation. The near-sabotage of the Rafale deal with highly-questionable techniques of fabricated data and facts reached a crescendo only a few months ago. The SS (secularist stormtroopers) brigade, the Lutyens Zone and Khan Market gangs, not to mention the masjid-church forces lost out on all the battles that they had initiated since mid-2013, when the battle for the 2014 elections started.

Let me sign off with my take on the anglicized, westernised, deracinated Indian elite that comprises the Shashi Tharoors, the Ramchandra Guhas, the Abhishek Manu Singhvis and the Kapil Sibals of the world. Their entire guerilla campaigns remind me of their roots – the salad days they spent in Delhi’s St. Stephen’s College, the pathetic little copy of Cambridge and Oxford that the Anglican padres constructed in the arid dust of Delhi in the early years of the 20th Century. If ever there is a world competition in pretentiousness, make-believe, ersatz posturing and chicanery, the inmates of this institution (Stephanians, as they label themselves), will walk away with most of the prizes. As the streets of Delhi and a number of other cities burn, these saboteurs (no other word suffices) gorge on their kebabs and their prized liqueurs. The French Republic, too, had its version of enemies within the gates, when it succumbed to Nazi Germany in 1940. The principal offenders were the members of the Paris salon crowd that was never fully at home with Republican France even 151 years after the Revolution in 1789. One of the most notorious collaborators of the Nazis and the Gestapo was Robert Brasillach, whose antipathy to republican values outweighed his intellectual and literary skills. When he was sentenced to death after the liberation of France, his sentence was sent to Charles de Gaulle for confirmation, along with a petition by many writers and scholars asking for clemency and the commutation of the sentence. The great de Gaulle refused, on the grounds that “intellectual crimes” are as toxic and heinous as military and political crimes.

This dude has got it right.

things that have been "lost" since Modi came to power

twitter

The protests aren't about CAA they are about different folks demanding different things.

Muslims want to restore the street veto, Congress wants to restore the power veto, intellectual-journalist-student comrades want their narrative veto.

I wonder how many countless others have got such dual aadhar cards, voter ids and other vital Indian national documents and so very conveniently, one identity is Hindu and the other is muslim.

We not only need a CAA but also an NRC, ASAP.

one doesn't even want to speculate on the original nationality or religion of this man

Bitu Biswas, son of Aviram Biswas, has two identities, one as a resident of the Jajpur town and another in West Bengal.

22nd December 2019

JAIPUR: A curious case of a person with two identities has come to fore in Jajpur Road. As per an FIR lodged by the coordinator of Vyasanagar unit of Bajrang Dal Sushil Kumar Mallick with Jajpur Road police, Bitu Biswas, son of Aviram Biswas, has two identities, one as a resident of the town and another in West Bengal.

Bitu has been staying in Jajpur Road and has a travel business. He had married a Hindu woman before Bhadrak Notary Public two years back and brought a motorcycle under the name. On the other hand, he allegedly has Aadhaar and voter id cards in the name of Soleman Shaik, son of Abdul Salam in Murshidabad, West Bengal. He has even brought an SUV under the name in the neighbouring State and is married to a woman from Murshidabad.

“The incident, prima facie, implies that a single person has been impersonating under two different names in two locations,” stated the FIR. The police have registered a case and started investigation into the matter. “We will probe how a man has two different names in two different locations and the intent behind it,” said a senior police officer.

The big exposé: Radical rioters in Mangaluru, planned on stealing guns and drowning city in sea of blood

By Team MyNation

New Delhi,
24, Dec 2019,

The big expose Radical rioters in Mangaluru, planned on stealing guns and drowning city in sea of blood

Highlights
CCTV footage has captured incidents which reveal that the violence that broke out in Mangaluru was a planned event. The efforts of the police have actually helped curb violence which could have otherwise resulted in bloodshed.

Had the rioters in Mangaluru managed to break into the private arms shop, loot the 40 guns along with the 3,000 rounds of ammunition, the unthinkable would have happened. Had it not been for the police and the quick action the force taken, Mangaluru would have been covered in blood.

In a massive exposé conducted by Suvarna News, it became extremely clear that none of these so called, protestors had any plans of undertaking a peaceful protest. The anti-citizenship violence in Mangaluru was entirely pre-planned and the intention was to burn down a city and ensure that people died en-masse.

When one looks at the visuals at first, there is a good chance that it could be mistaken for Kashmir. The rioters with their faces covered are relentlessly pelting stones. The operation was meticulously planned and there are even visuals of an auto filled with stones reaching the riot spot.

Completely pre-planned:

In the aftermath of the Jamia Millia riots in Delhi, the police had found sacks of stones on the streets, clearly indicating that radical elements had come well prepared to create a ruckus.

The case in Mangaluru is no different. The visual shows an auto laden with stones arriving at the spot, which falls under the Bandar Police station limits. A mob charges towards the auto pulls down the sacks filled with stones. Instantly they pick up the stones and begin pelting it at police. The CCTV grab captures clearly the manner in which the auto arrives at the spot and these radical elements pick up stones and hurl it at police personnel.

Destroying CCTVs:

The second visual released by Suvarna News shows the rioters breaking a CCTV camera. With their faces covered, they walk up to the camera with a stick and break the camera. This was a visual that was captured just before the riots took place. It is a clear indicator that these persons had pre-planned a major ambush in the city and did not want to be captured. More importantly, it suggests that the riots did not take place in the spur of the moment. Bringing an auto with stones and before that breaking the CCTV camera is a clear indicator that the riot was planned well in advance.

Obstruction of duty:

The third visual shows how these radical rioters blocking a police van. A mob comes out on to Mission Street and puts a pole on the road to block a police van. A van approaches the area, but the rioters hurl stones, forcing the police van to retreat. Immediately the mob comes out and places another pole on the road. In the midst of this another rioter runs towards a CCTV camera and pelts stones at it. Another group brings a pushcart on the streets and blocks the road with it. In the midst of all this madness, two persons are seen running riot; one is sporting a helmet, while another has his face covered.

Preparing for a bloodbath:

Now, had the rioters succeeded, the consequences would have been unthinkable. A visual of the rioters trying to break into the Kini Gun House under the Bandar Police station limits, only indicates what these persons were up to. At the time of the incident, there were nearly 40 guns in the shop and 3,000 bullets.

Thanks to quick thinking by police and brave action, the rioters were unsuccessful in gaining entry into the shop. The rioters were clearly planning on stealing guns and opening fire on police and general public. We need to thank the brave police for acting tough, failing which, Mangaluru could have been drowned in a sea of blood.

The provocation:

On Saturday, Congress MLA from Mangaluru, UT Khader was booked for making a provocative speech against the new act. In his complaint, Sandesh Kumar Shetty, the BJP’s Dakshina Kannada Yuva Morcha general secretary said that Khader had incited the people to indulge in criminal activities.

He incited the people by saying that Karnataka will burn if the act is implemented in the state. The police booked a case under Section 124 A, (Sedition). The police are now closely studying if the planned violence in Mangaluru has a direct link with the provocative statements made by Khader.

Role of radical elements:

The police are also studying if any radical and terror groups played a part in the riots. The Uttar Pradesh and Delhi Police spoke about the presence of radical elements and terror groups during the protests.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi too on Sunday said that the Congress, Naxalites, educated Naxalites and their allies are spreading rumours that Muslims will be sent to detention camps. Further an Intelligence Bureau report prepared last week also said that groups such as the SIMI have entered the protests and has been sending its cadres to various parts of the country to fan violence.
