Hi CRamS,

What is being seen in India right now is an absolute tragedy. I did write the article below and just a bit to try and take some of the attention away from Western media incessant reports of the Kumbh Mela being the cause along with rallies.

How does the Kumbh Mela really affect the massive case surge in Mumbai over 1,700 miles away? I put it down to a couple of factors. Really poor enforcement of lockdown and also States like Delhi and Maharashtra were slow to vaccinate initially refusing the indigenous Covaxin. On the ground reports from Aditya above also state that iftar parties during Ramzan and poor enforcement of this along with Farmers protests have led to the surge in Delhi.

Only a massive vaccination campaign can bring the numbers under control right now. Oxygen concentrators as you said are also the need of the hour.
When it comes to the donating PM cares fund and PM disaster relief. I understand that the PM Cares fund is specifically being diverted for oxygen.
There is also the American Association of Physicians of Indian origin. They have a donation link and a newsletter stating that they have already sent 1000 oxygen concentrators on April 29th.
I myself am trying to figure out if I can personally send a few to the India Aware team in Delhi. They have also been hit quite hard, Including children and family members.

In any case, some of the links below.

On another note, the loss of elections in West Bengal five more years of tyranny. Not sure what else to say regarding this of this time. The fact that we are looking at an even bigger loss is somewhat shocking. Truth is all that I can figure is that the massive immigration of Bangladeshis must have had a more significant effect than I would have thought.
Swarajya Again has a good article trying to summarize why the election was lost with multiple pointers.

Between the rising covid-19 Cases above as well as the loss in Bengal, break India forces must truly be salivating.

It's going to be a long hard Road or the next couple of years. A long hard battle that requires new strategies to really combat these forces.

I really wish the BJP would increase their social media presence and continually hammer methodically and regularly damaging worldwide propaganda against the party, Modi and Hindus.

Perhaps, we are all part of that process as well. Need to try and figure out how to gain more supporters to our cause over the next few years.

Corruption in the BBMP is endemic, as well as, systematic and structured

what do they mean by "investigation"

book them for murder, the chaprasis as well as their politico masters who are running this racket.

an identical racket is also running in dilli, done by the paapi party

Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya Alleges Irregularities And Anomalies By BBMP Officials Resulted In Fake Bed Scarcity In Silicon City

Image
MP Tejasvi Surya with MLAs Satish Reddy and Uday Garudachar

Snapshot
At a press meet on Tuesday evening, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya alleged that a nexus of officials and Arogya Mithras and staff of certain hospitals has been creating a shortage of beds in the city by blocking them for asymptomatic and home isolation patients, most of whom weren’t even aware of the same.

There are enough beds in Bengaluru city but none of them were available to people as war room personnel have been running a racket of false blocking beds and then allotting them to those they please, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya has alleged today in a press meet today.

An enraged Surya remarked that those involved in this racket will surely face a unpleasant end themselves as they have played with lives of hundreds of people who died without having access to beds despite there being enough of them available.

Along with MLAs Satish Reddy, Uday Garudachar and Ravi Subramanya, Surya ’exposed’ the workings of a group involving Arogya Mithras stationed at various hospitals, staff of the agency that is handling the war room, certain BBMP officials who have been ‘playing with the lives of people’ and assurged action against all those who have led to this ’fake scarcity of beds’ in Bengaluru.

After investigating data involving over 10,000 patients pertaining to distribution of bed, the procedure, protocol, time of booking, Surya said, they found dubious patterns of beds being blocked against names of patients who were in home isolation and the reallotment of the same to others.

Revealing details of patients, whose names have been changed to protect privacy, Surya apologised to all those who have lost their lives due to such corrupt practices and said the same has been brought to the notice of Chief Minsiter B S Yediyurappa who has assured strict action against those involved.

Surya also alleged that officials had been avoiding provision of data and only after he threatened to sit in protest outside the BBMP office late last night was he able to avail of the same.

Some patients they allege have been booked twice at the same hospital while in reality the patient when contacted by the MP’s office denied even being contacted by the BBMP about the allocated bed. “Arun has informed that he is asymptomatic and did not require or request any hospital bed,” said the release, divulging details of how the bed was blocked at Pristine Hospital and then unblocked only to have another patient blocke don the same bed in a matter of hours.

At Apollo, a patient who claimed was under home isolation and had no symptoms was shown as having an ICU bed blocked for her. Another case mentioned was of Narasimha who was booked in three hospitals and informed about none. “Surprising fact is that she did not even need hospitalisation. She has recovered and is stable now” said the release issued after the media address.

Sadly, another patient, who passed away, required an ICU but was booked a HDU bed at Apollo Jayanagar and wasn’t informed about it.

As per the release the fact that “a bed is blocked and the patient is admitted into the hospital within a span of few seconds shows the clear nexus between the Arogya Mitra at the hospital, the hospital incharge and the zone/108 bed booking incharge,”.

Alegging that this has resulted in a lot of wastage of beds, it said almost “50 per cent of the beds are unblocked after 12 hours. And that the share of unblocked beds against overall admissions indicate that a more deserving patient is denied a hospital bed for a person who is not even interested in getting admitted,”.

This is unpardonable, said Surya, given that people are dying all over and the sights haunt all those who have been working round the clock to save them.

Everyone perceives BJP as Hindu party whereas it wants to be secular always begging its enemies for certificates of secularism as epitomised by sabka vishwas.
Secondly once in power it ignores core Hindu issues & takes Hindus for granted.

Kejriwal is totally doing drama this time he is again asking for funds from the centre saying that he wants to help poor people. Centre has announced for free food for poor families for two months. this guy has announced that scheme in the Delhi government name. He is asking for oxygen and he is getting it but doesn't know where it is going. He is unable to handle black marketing of injections and other things. Still, he is giving advertisings on Youtube and other social media channels. With the lack of health services and all now Delhi is going to struggle for drinking water. He is blaming Haryana for that.

why are we scared to call it the double mutant strain of the chinese wuhan virus

It is ok to name covid variants “Brazilian variant”, “UK variant”, “S African variant” and now “Indian variant” - after country of origin.

But it’s politically incorrect to call the original covid-19 “Chinese virus”!

"Hon'ble Lordships, There is a India beyond Delhi"

Anonymous
06:05 PM, 07 May 2021

Hon’ble Lordships,

There is a India beyond Delhi.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to your Lordships as many of you have practiced in different courts across the country and have been a part of various High Courts as Hon’ble Judges and even Chief Justices. You have been a part of not only the judicial framework but also a part of the culture of the States wherein you resided during such tenure. And there is no doubt that with every High Court, you have dispensed justice as if it was your parent High Court and the people, your own.

However, the Covid-19 crisis and the Delhi centric hearings taking place before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and the Hon’ble Supreme Court make us wonder if Delhi is little more Indian than rest of India. And such fears may not be misplaced. Statements such as ‘Delhi Represents the Nation’ and ‘Delhi must be given its oxygen quota [fixed by Court] by whatever means’ may have been off-the-cuff and unintentional but do convey a sense of priority for Delhi. The direction, no matter how conveniently worded, to the Centre was to ensure 700 MT of oxygen to Delhi at any cost. There was a special preference given to Delhi which was not available for other States. It was indicated that Delhi is more entitled than others. Let us take this example, Madhya Pradesh, like Delhi, has no oxygen producing units of its own. However, with proactive coordination with industrialists and transport traders, it was able to secure few plants, containers, transport and continuous supply. It was proactive in making request for Oxygen Express. While it is still touch and go for Madhya Pradesh, the government acted in the nick of time. In Delhi, the High Court and the Supreme Court have directed the Central Government to bring oxygen to Delhi’s border. No such privilege was extended to Madhya Pradesh. Hopefully, the Centre will let us know if the same was at the cost of another State that was proactive in booking transport and supply and did not have the privilege of being Delhi. In fact, a report suggests that Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand are likely to be affected by such diversions of Oxygen supply to Delhi on behest of Hon’ble Courts. Maybe we all are equal, but Delhi residents are little more equal than others.

Similarly, Uttar Pradesh has been battling with shortage of oxygen and Remdesivir injections. There was a shortage of oxygen in Manipur (which was attended to by Assam in the spirit of cooperative federalism). There have been incidents reported in Rajasthan where Remdesivir has been out of stock in entire districts. In fact, Rajasthan has been asked by the Hon’ble Supreme Court to wait till next Monday to plead its grievances. The severity of the oxygen crisis in Punjab is apprehended to be underreported. Chhattisgarh has seen high levels of positivity rate. The crowding of senior citizens outside vaccination centers in Mumbai may be more dangerous than political rallies, considering the age group is more vulnerable. Yet, the hearing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court was limited to Delhi. There is urgency only for Delhi. This reminds me of a political slogan that may be suitably modified- Delhi is India and India is Delhi.

To be fair to the Hon’ble Supreme Court, they did refer to Mumbai briefly, another Metropolitan to commend its ‘Model’. However, the commendation rebels against the fact that Mumbai was the epicenter of second wave, the deaths are highest in Maharashtra and that there are enough statistics to show that Mumbai allowed the second wave to go unchecked for months with its alarmingly low testing, I will believe that the model being referred to was limited to utilization of oxygen. However, maybe a mention of Assam which has almost become self-sufficient in oxygen through prompt coordination with industries or Odisha, which has supplied oxygen to many States would have been better. But then, maybe these States are a victim of tyranny of distance and are not as glamorous as the ‘City That Never Sleeps.’ Maybe, their Lordships are guided by the limited reading of a section of media.

Individually, these instances may not mean much. Collectively, they indicate that the Hon’ble Courts are governed by the factors of proximity and self-preservation. They are likely to react when the deaths are closer to home and have more attention of the media. And there may not be anything extraordinary about it. The Hon’ble Justices are humans as well. They are affected by what they see, hear and read in the media. The closer the calamity, swifter the response. However, natural, the swift reaction may cause harm to the interest of other States who are reeling under the same pressure.

There is a difference between seeking all possible resources and all resources. The hearings do indicate that ‘all resources’ are meant for Delhi and other States, have to divide whatever is remaining. This cannot be allowed to continue not the hearings, rather the perception. The perception that Hon’ble Courts in Delhi will prioritize Delhi at the cost of others will only damage the institution more.

Maybe the situation could have been different, had there been regional benches of the apex Court and such regional benches would have been seized of the region-specific concerns. Maybe it could have been different if the Hon’ble Courts in Delhi were not accessible to only a select few lawyers. Maybe it would have been different if Courts did not let their territorial jurisdiction get better of the need to be fair and equitable to other States. The states may compete in the spirit of cooperative federalism, courts shouldn’t.

Post-script
I have not spoken of the inherent problem of Courts directing and micro-managing day to day affairs of the Executive. I will not speak of the fact that lawyers have decided to replace the wisdom of doctors in managing the pandemic. I will not speak of the discussion in a High Court (and not ICMR) as to whether Dexamethasone is an alternative to Remdesivir. I will not speak of the fact that government officials are spending more time before the Courts rather than actually working to save lives. Because these are issues concerning a larger debate on judicial activism and whether it has reached a destructive stage.

I have not spoken of the much-required audit of the Courts to determine how judicial delay has added to the misery in the pandemic. The unilateral offer of a corporate to produce 1000MT of oxygen per day was delayed by 5 crucial days on account of Hon’ble Court’s indecisiveness. To put things in perspective, such quantum of oxygen is 300 MT in excess of the per day requirement of Delhi. There are numerous roads, highway and public infrastructure projects in abeyance due to judicial battles and processes. Maybe, and just maybe, the flow of oxygen and medical help could have been better with better means of transport and supporting infrastructure. There are hundreds of undertrial prisoners suffering in jail attributable to judicial delays and are now at the mercy of the pandemic in overcrowded jails. Yet again, these are matters of judicial conduct that require a larger debate and maybe better times.

I have specifically not referred to the Bengal violence escaping the attention of the Courts and the otherwise hyperactive Bar. I will not go into the fact that the Hon’ble Supreme Court has refused to even list the petition on Bengal violence for hearing. As I stated above, maybe the proximity of courts determines the value attached to deaths. Yet, I have to remain silent. I know the moment I seek to draw attention to the same, the concerns will be dismissed as political. I can only hope that the Courts will use their discretion equitably, and equally.

There is a lot to be spoken. However, in an ideal world, such criticism would call for a debate and not contempt. We are not in ideal world. Therefore, the author issues her/his unconditional apology for any feelings that may have been hurt and any disrespect that may have been inferred. There is no intention to lower to the majesty of the Hon’ble Courts or commit any contempt.

Praying for a safe and happy vacation for Hon’ble Lordships.

Yours faithfully,

A non-Delhi resident,

India

Unfortunately, what we have Seen over the last month India has paid a heavy price. However the repercussions of this could Very well last for years and really affect the political landscape I feel. We have seen how Hindus yet again have been mercilessly butchered after the recent voting in West Bengal. It is only a matter of time before more corrupt governments start to take hold in multiple States and the rates of such attacks could significantly increase.
The world quickly latched onto Modi and Shah as being the targets for their attack but I'm not really sure what much more we could have done. Close to 150 million were already vaccinated by the time of the surge.

As much as they tried to push the Covax vaccine, it was repeatedly held off by multiple States including Delhi and Maharashtra. They are now paying the consequences.
Anti-hindu media houses will continue to spin the covid tragedy as being a BJP issue, but I think that the lack of faith in State governments to adopt vaccinations as well as the Covax should be given It's due say.

We can only hope that this tragedy passes quickly and the rates of vaccinations continue to significantly increase to hold off the spiraling death rate.

The article about the Modi Government’s handling of the pandemic was written by cheeni Helena Hui Wang, who is the Lancet’s Asia editor based out of beijing.

This is the (f)article being quoted by the congis to blame the Modi government.

this is the extent to which the once mighty britshit empire has prostituted itself in its desperate quest to maintain relevance.

what next for these bigoted racists, will the britshits or their cheeni masters miraculously discover that the Indian variant of the wuhan cheeni virus has a caste

@TheLancet's Asia editor is 'Helena Hui Wang', based in Beijing. It has published a low quality propaganda piece against the Indian Govt. The writing standard resembles a typical Indian journo. But I have to ask lancet & Ms Helena-How many articles on CCP China have you released?
via@JoeAgneya May 9, 2021

and the party which has signed an MOU with the chinese CCP has this to say.

well done pappu

Even Lancet – one of the world's finest medical journals – cannot believe that the Modi govt declared victory against the virus after the first wave.

This govt has made our nation into a global laughing stock. https://t.co/7lvVXE783I

Guys, MunJi et. al, going by the viscous campaign against ModiJi in the wake of Covid 2nd wave, it does appear to me that both brand ModiJi and India have taken a massive beating. Now, as a ModiJi supporter, this is so grossly unfair, but in a country like India where there is such a concentration of traitors and break-India forces who operate under the guise of 'freedom of expression', this was inevitable.

The simple truth of the matter is that India's health care system was in shambles to begin, thx to 70+ years of Pappu dynasty. And when a Tsuanmi like the 2nd wave struck, and Indians of all stripes throwing caution to the wind post 1st wave, Indian healthcare system just couldn't deal with the Tsunami. ModiJi was beginning to make to make some healthcare progress with initiatives like Ayushman Bharat etc., but all that counts for nothing now.

I think judging by ModiJi's silence, looks like even he was caught flat footed. I mean in a situation like this, its best for him to quietly make amends and do the best he can. Anything he says will be twisted and maimed by his haters. I am pretty sure he is under tremendous pressure. I hope and pray that he is in the best frame of mind and physical health to do the right things. The poor guys has had a rough ride from the day he sworn in on May 2014. And now his haters have found an avenue to go for the kill and they are not going to stop. Very tough days ahead. Hope the traitors don't break him.

additionally, there is a regime change operation in progress.

starting out with shaheenbagh it has moved on to the "farmer's agitation"

the covid crisis is being dynamically synced with the same regime change plans.

vaccine production in India has been deliberately sabotaged by beijingbiden and his gang of liberal wokes, including greedy pharma giants in the ameriki pharma space

The scaling up of vaccine production in India is being hampered by the shortage of the intermediate material required for vaccine production. Much of this material such as filters, solutions and plastic bags come from the United States. But the US administration has banned the export of vaccine material under its Defence Production Act.

WTH does CDC have to do with India and why is ANI propagating this crap

we desperately need the masks to stay on and the need to keep social distance is paramount.

just like the "farmer's agitation" this is also a part of the regime change agenda.

this is very wrong.

Some fully vaccinated individuals have died of covid much after their vaccinations.

many others have become infected with covid even after two doses.

Fully vaccinated individuals can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart: US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

this is a woke BIF circle to set in motion the continued spread and lack of control over the spread of the pandemic.

sedition charges should be filed against this "one rupee fine" activist punk who seems to be a great favourite among many hizzonners

let's see how this plays out.

If the govt can be forced to provide oxygen, then it can also use force, if necessary to safeguard the public health and safety by compulsory vaccination or permanent quarantine of these unvaxxed wokes in the face of the deadly pandemic.

What about the fundamental right to life of those people who will be infected by such politically "instigated" nonvaxxers. who protects them and who speaks for them

I do believe the next couple of months are going to be crucial with regard to re-election Of Modi and the BJP. Really taking attacks from multiple angles. everybody and their long-lost uncle is giving an opinion on this. I really think that it's going to take how much bigger effort from all of us To try and Give another course correction over the next couple of years.

To some extent I've given up I'm trying to analyze the psyche of the Jaichands that exists. Too many webs and threads to really understand.
India has been largely Split into those who still believe that Hinduism serves as a cultural and moral fabric Guiding India's Direction constantly and those who would simply take on abrahamic ideas as their guiding force into the next century.

As it stands now, this kind of media War can only be fought with an equivalent media War. Perhaps it's time that all of us members who have similar ideas stop the thing to do to come to light about how we can aggressively change minds and the situation on the ground in India.

Just food for thought, I'm hoping to send you guys some private messages with the next couple of weeks with regard to suggestions.

The cat has been set among the pigeons.

A very clear and unmistakable warning shot across the jat bows

There seem to be extreme reactions among the jats to this dalit desire, considering that dalits may well be in the majority among the electorate in punjab, and so, if push came to shove, it's off to the muslims for support.

The dalits have as many rights as any other in punjab to stand for elections to any post that they desire.

Punjab police have arrested the pathi of a gurdwara at Bir Talab village in Bathinda district on May 20 (Thursday), after he welcomed BJP’s decision to project a Dalit as the Chief Minister candidate of Punjab in the 2022 Assembly poll. In a special Ardas (prayer) he offered in the Gurudwara, Gurmel Singh Khalsa prayed for PM Modi’s long life and backed BJP’s reported decision to project a Dalit as CM candidate in the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections.

As per a report in Jagran, the Punjab police initiated action against him after a video of him went viral where he is heard offering prayers at the Gurudwara. A lawyer named Harpal Singh Khara reportedly lodged a complaint against Gurmel Singh Khalsa accusing him of hurting religious sentiments by batting for a Dalit face as the next CM.

Gurmel Singh Khalsa is the former sarpanch of Bir Talab and the husband of Rajpal Kaur, the present sarpanch of Bir Talab village in Bathinda.

In his ardas, Khalsa said being a member of the Dalit community, he wished the next Punjab chief minister should be a scheduled caste. He lauded BJP for its decision to project a Dalit as a CM candidate in the upcoming elections. He also offered prayers for the release of jailed Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh saying he was a victim of a political conspiracy.

Khalsa hurt religious sentiments by batting for a Dalit CM, the complainant said

The complainant said Khalsa’s conduct hurt the sentiment of Sikhs and strict should be initiated against him. He also demanded action against the Bir Talab gurdwara management committee for allowing Khalsa’s address at the shrine.

Senior superintendent of police (SSP) BS Virk said a case was registered under sections 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the Indian penal code. “A team will probe the role of other persons named in the complaint,” said the SSP.

BJP writes a complaint to National Commission for Scheduled Castes condemning Punjab police’s arbitrary action

Meanwhile, BJP state secretary Sukhpal Sra condemned the arbitrary action taken against Khalsa by the Punjab police and wrote a complaint to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes that Khalsa was targeted for supporting a Dalit attaining more political power in Punjab.
