This creep and his wife should have both got the electric chair for the murder of that innocent little kid. The cancellation of the OCI cards of his friends and family is natural justice. This guy and his wife are both cold blooded SOBs or whatever is the female equivalent.

It breaks my heart to think of this little kid's cruel fate at the hands of such bigoted monsters.

The Indian government has decided to revoke the Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) for Wesley and Sini Mathews, the Indian-American adoptive parents of Sherin Mathews, the three-year-old who was found dead in a culvert in Dallas last year.

Overseas Citizenship of India is an immigration status which allows a foreign citizen of Indian origin to come back to India and live and work here permanently.

Anupam Ray, the Consul General of India, speaking to news agency PTI, has said that the OCI cards of some of the couple's relatives and close friends will also be revoked. Ray told PTI that this step was being taken because of the inflamed public opinion in India on this issue and said that the travel of the concerned people was not in public interest.

The first persons to get their OCI cards cancelled were the couple's friends, Manoj and Nissy Abraham, and Wesley's parents.

The Abrahams have filed a petition in the Delhi High Court contesting this move.

Speaking to PTI, Anupam Ray stated that the Abrahams were in close contact with Wesley and his wife before and during three-year-old Sherin's death. He added that had the Abrahams cooperated in the probe and provided information to the investigation agency, more details about the circumstances surrounding the child's death would have emerged.

The Houston Consulate also plans on recommending their names to be added to the 'blacklist' which is maintained by the Government of India.

Wesley and Sini Mathews, who hail from Kerala, had adopted Sherin from an orphanage in Bihar in 2016. The toddler's decomposed body was found in a culvert close to her home on October 22, 2017. Since her body was decomposed, how she died could not be investigated. Wesley had initially told the police that he had punished Sherin and left her standing outside their home at 3 am for not drinking her milk. Later, however, he changed his version claiming she had choked on her milk when he had tried to feed her. He had also admitted that the family had gone out to dinner and left Sherin behind, a day before she died.

Wesley was jailed for capital murder and tampering with evidence and Sini was charged with endangering a child. Their other daughter, aged 4, is currently with Social Services.

Sachin et. al, who were commenting on repeal of 377 and ther almost artificial euphoria on display by Lutyen elite, notice one thing in the aftermath. Far from nothing any nonsense, save SuSwamy, BJP leaders including ModiJi were mostly yawning at this court ruling. I mean its one thing to de-criminalize what people do behind closed doors, straight sex or gay sex, but its quite another for any Indian politician to overwhelmingly endorse gay lifestyle just because its chic and modern in western countries, and that too when the Indian populace is deeply conservative. But the elite have picked up this silence and gone after ModiJi.

Talking about silence, I notice that one prominent Luteyn elite, I am referring to Tavleen Singh, has been silent on 377, at least judging by her Tweets. Surprising that her own half Paki son is married to some American guy :-).

Why am I not surprised??

Anyway, this "guy" atish taseer's paki sojourns are absolutely over.

For such "freedoms", folks are beheaded in pakiland and mama tavleen wouldn't like that at all.

After a flurry of lootyens' generated publicity for his writing, he suddenly fell off the map. So, now we know why.

So he traded in his pen for apron strings, then??.

good show, indeed.

Your petrol price is high because UPA left 2 lakh crore of oil debt for Modi

Fuel prices are hurting. Petrol prices have broken Rs 85/ litre in several cities. Is this supposed to be Achche Din?

Of course not.

Well, how could it be? We all like to splurge and then we hate it when the bill comes due. Except, in this case, it is not us who splurged, it was our overlords in the UPA government who did and left us stuck with the bill.

Well, why won’t the government just cut the fuel prices? If you are asking this, you probably do not know the kind of deep well that UPA dug for us before they left office.

Image

When global oil prices rose in 2012, 2013 and 2014, the UPA’s reputation, along with India’s economy, was already collapsing. If public anger had been stoked any further by surging oil prices, the Congress might have been reduced to single digits in 2014. The ruling dispensation had already scammed pretty much everything available on land, air, sea and even in space. There was only one thing left to do. They could scam us out of our future earnings.

So how did the UPA lower oil prices? Instead of paying Oil Manufacturing Companies (OMCs) in cash, the government started ‘paying’ them in ‘oil bonds’. An ‘oil bond’ is not money, it’s just a promise that the government will pay them in the future, preferably under a different ruling party that will be left to bear the brunt.

Think of it as the UPA paying for oil with a post-dated check. Only worse, because when you issue a bond, you also have to pay interest on it. So it is more like a credit card.

By the time Modi Sarkar came to power, the UPA had already swiped its credit card to borrow a whopping Rs 1.3 lakh crore worth of oil. In the last four years, the Modi government has had to pay back UPA’s debt in full along with Rs 70,000 crore in interest.

While Modi has been paying UPA’s credit card bill, the Congress Party has been on the streets asking: why won’t PM Modi cut oil prices? Is this Achche Din?

Think of it as a father who mortgages the ancestral home to pay for his gambling habit and then runs away one day, leaving his sons and daughters to pay back the loan.

Only worse, because once those sons and daughters have worked hard and repaid the loan, the father comes back and asserts his right to ownership of that ancestral home.

Strip the orchard bare and run away. Let someone else tend to the garden. Come back when the fruit is ripe for picking.

This is what Congress has always been: always there for the taking and never there for the making.

The clout of the organised church over the self-appointed "secular & progressive liberals"; i.e the CPI(M) government in Kerala is now becoming a real poor joke. The bishop accused of molesting nuns is just sitting smug in Jalandhar and the police officials too are just playing the fool. The same Kerala Police generally goes on an over drive when common people make fun of the communist leaders etc.
* HC seeks details from govt in Jalandhar bishop case.
* Missionaries of Jesus condemns nuns’ protest.

This case has also become a big embarassment to the X'ian community, and this is right after a case against a Cardinal over a land deal and unaccounted money.

And the "secular & progressive liberal" CPI(M) is also now accused of protecting an MLA who is to have molested a fellow comrade. The party too tried to supress the complaint.
* If the victim wants party will forward complaint against Sasi to police: MA Baby.

In KL it is now pretty much accepted that the normal judicial process etc. is only reserved for people from unorganised religion or communities.

On the issue of TN Govt. planning to release the Rajiv Ghandi murder case prisoners
, what does the state government plan to do with the Srilankan prisoners? They entered the country illegally and have also not been granted citizen ship. So can't the Indian Govt take these prisoners into their custody and hand them over to Sri Lankan authorities? Sri Lanka who is hell beant on ensuring that LTTE snake does not rise its head again, would only be too happy to take these people into their custody and have some "love talk" arranged.

Intellectually Bankrupt Left Ecosystem exposed in Kerala Floods.
A Kerala friend of mine (a closet bjp supporter) says that the social media war is being dominated by the left and it appears that BJP is on the back foot because of some BJP leaders statements... and feels that the good work done by Sevabharati is eclipsed by BJP statements.. He thinks that it is ony OUTSIDE Kerala that the misdeeds of left are being discussed and inside Kerala such information is blocked out

Is this true?

Your friend is partially right. Because when compared to the BJP capabilites on ground in Kerala, their social media presence is better. During the floods a "self appointed leader" of BJP had made some statement about the requirement of skilled man power to make urgent repairs etc, as most of the people in KL where compartively rich and their houses had all basic facilities. This statement is actually true; most of the homes in Kerala have electricity and sanitation facilities etc which may have been damaged by the floods. So skilled help was required to fix this. The communists and their pets in the media ran a misinformation campaign to mean that the BJP leader assumed all Keralites to be rich (and thus do not require any monetory help).

BJP leadership in KL has been pretty much on a permenant back foot mode. There is lots of infighting in a party which actually is still grappling to get a foot hold in the state. Even during the floods the BJP state leadership was no where to be seen. RSS & Seva Bharathi who are more "voluntary organisations" did the job behind the scenes. But with no further help, their good work all got blacked out.

In Kerala, the CPI(M) is actually being given a good breathing space. The major opposition party is INC, and they are just bench warmers in the legislative assembly. They are not able to even maintain a sustained campaign highlighting the misdeeds of the leftist govt. Today CPI(M) MLA is accused of abusing/mistreating a woman cadre, a X'ian Bishop is accused of doing the same to a nun; yet the opposition party (INC) has not been to mobilize any strong public actions. If INC was ruling, and commies were in opposition by now at least there would be 1-2 state wide harthals, public property destruction campaign and a usual set of commies and policemen in hospitals. The current CPI(M) dispensation has also got pretty much every media outlet in their control. All of them are in a perpetual "Look up north and bash up BJP" mode.

All said and done, it is actually in social media that the pro-BJP outfits gets some good mileage. That is a more level playing field, and many of the people active on social media are actually outside KL.

After 19 days, Hardik Patel ends fast
While breaking his hunger strike, the 25-year-old slammed BJP and said “he would not like to play in the hands of those who want to see him die of hunger.” ;) :rotfl:. Looks like chappie has a no compromise attitude to food. Don't know who suggested him to go on hunger strike. Harpic seems to be following the foot steps of Kejri.

AISF hangs a punching bag with Modi's face in Kochi, gives option to youth to either hug or punch it
Now first things first, people may no want to know what AISF is. It is the "student wing" of the "national party", the CPI who has managed to win one Lok Sabha seat in the entire country. They came with a cheap protest of having a punching bag with Modi's picture on it and every one encouraged to punch at the bag. The same scheme was made operational in many parts of KL, which leds to BJP workers protesting a police doing a lathi charge. The rabid Modi-hatred being spewn in KL is now slowly reaching a level where all civility and decorum is getting thrown away.

hard dick patel reportedly and very quietly subsisted on fruits and water throughout his alleged "fast unto death"

He also refused to let doctors take blood and urine samples to assess his state of health.

hard dick has reputedly gained some weight after 19 days of his vigorous "fast unto death".

After 19 days of fasting, one would normally be hospital bound immediately after the fast ended but not our boy hard dick.

India among nations with 'no or little enforcement' against foreign Bribery : Report..

"India among nations with 'no or little enforcement' against foreign bribery: Report",

Sep 12, 2018,

"NEW DELHI: India is among four countries with "no or little enforcement" mechanism to check foreign bribery, according to a report released on Wednesday by anti-corruption organisation Transparency International."

Citing cases of alleged bribery by foreign firms including in a deal of 12 helicopters by Italy-based firm AgustaWestland, it asked India to criminalise foreign bribery and introduce effective legislation to protect whistleblowers in the private sector.

"If China, Hong Kong, India and Singapore do not enforce hard-won international standards for conducting business, competitors from countries that do enforce will find themselves disadvantaged. This may lead to a reduction in enforcement, destabilising the global marketplace," said the 2018 edition of the exporting Corruption report.

After floods, Kerala now faces an invasion from piranha, African catfish and other non-native predatorial fish
After floods, Kerala now faces an invasion from piranha, African catfish and other non-native predatorial fish

After the catastrophic floods in Kerala last month that led to massive loss of lives and property, the state is now probably staring at another crisis that is likely to threaten the ecological balance of its waterbodies. Although it is too early to gauge what the ultimate outcome might be, the sightings of predatory, alien fish species in large numbers that appear to have found their way into the state's waterbodies, are turning out to be a cause of concern for the state.

A team of researchers from the University of Kerala, the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, and National Institute of Advanced Studies in Bangalore carried out a quick initial assessment of the state's waterbodies to find 11 alien species in all — four of which are invasive, a report in The Hindu says.

“Globally, floodwaters have proved to be a major route for the spread of invasive species," A Biju Kumar, a professor at the Department of Aquatic Biology and Fisheries, University of Kerala told The Hindu. "Therefore, a precautionary approach is warranted while farming potential invasive (fish) along floodplains.”

The school of alien fish appear to have washed into Kerala from ornamental and commercial fish farms in the state, said an India Times report. Farming certain predator fish species like piranhas are banned in the state, however, commercial dealers continue to rear them illegally.

Some photographs of these non-native fish have been circulated on social media over the past few days. One even shows a few men grinning at their luck after having caught a fish the size of a full-grown human.

Another point of concern, the report cited, is the fitness of some of the foreign species, particularly the species known as the African catfish. This particular type of fish can grow over 50kg in size by feasting on other fish and has no known natural predators.

In the weeks since the flood, the red-bellied piranha — one of the deadliest freshwater fish known to man — has also been reported by fishermen. Another new species spotted in Kerala's newly-calm waters is the Arapaima (pictured), a vicious predator of Brazilian origin known to survive out of water for a considerable amount of time.

While the sightings continue to raise concerns among Keralites, the ecological impact of having a sea of non-native, predatorial fish remains an uncertainty for now.

Predatory Fish Like Arapaima, Red Belly Piranha And Alligator Gar Spotted After Kerala floods

Raising some serious concerns over the balance of life in the freshwater rivers of Kerala, a number of predatory non-native fish breeds have been spotted in the waters ever since the recent floods.

A couple of photos and videos making rounds on social media for the past few days suggest that an arapaima was caught by some locals from the Chalakudy river in Thrissur District.

When technology impregnated entities like twitter have already revealed their left leaning mindsets and are openly slanting and censoring opposing viewpoints and bias, the news from google is not too heartening either.

There is very real fear of these guys meddling and interfering with the 2019 elections in India. jeff bezos of amazon is openly supporting world vision despite knowing fully well their predatory tactics in India, or maybe it is ONLY because of their predatory tactics and "secular" agenda, that he is supporting them.

Leaked video shows Google executives saddened by Trump election

SAN FRANCISCO: Far-right news website Breitbart on Wednesday posted a leaked video showing Google executives sharing with employees how troubled they were by the election of US President Donald Trump.

The leak of the hour-long video from a TGIF (Thank God It's Friday) town hall-style gathering shortly after Trump won office in November of 2016 came as the president and his allies accuse the leading search engine of bias against politically conservative viewpoints.

"I know this is probably not the most joyous TGIF we have had," Google co-founder Sergey Brin said in the video.

"As an immigrant and a refugee, I certainly find this election deeply offensive. I know many of you do, too."

Brin said most people at the meeting were upset and saddened by an election outcome that indicated many people in the US don't share the values of those at Google when it came to immigrants, minorities, women, and the world being left to children.

Google chief executive Sundar Pichai also addressed the gathering, saying that while the election was rife with rhetoric and division, people should have faith in the democratic process.

Pichai said he thought one of the reasons for the election outcome was that "people don't feel heard on either side."

"There is a lot of fear. It is important to reach out," Pichai said.

Google executives urged employees to remain true to their values, and trust that the internet can make lives better for people around the world, despite its flaws.

Google told AFP that for more than 20 years employees have been free to express personal viewpoints at all-hands get-togethers such as the one in the video.

"Nothing was said in that meeting, or any other meeting, to suggest that any political bias ever influences the way we build or operate our products," Google said in response to an AFP inquiry.

"To the contrary, our products are built for everyone, and we design them with extraordinary care to be a trustworthy source of information for everyone, without regard to political viewpoint."

Google and other major US internet firms are facing intense scrutiny for allowing the propagation of misinformation and hate speech, and allegations of political bias from the president and some Republican lawmakers.

And one had fondly imagined that the padres would have been rejoicing at the judgement, given their penhant for "sunday school", "choir practice" and well upholstered altar boys ;)

There is a viewpoint being pushed in many media circles that it is the RSS which is vehemently opposing the amendment to art 377. No one mentions or highlights the vehement opposition by the xtian godmen and the mullah brigade.

‘Jesus will arrive to punish’ shouted a Christian pastor on the recent SC judgement decriminalising homosexuality"

‘Jesus will arrive to punish’ shouted a Christian pastor on the recent SC judgement decriminalising homosexuality"

September 11, 2018

A Tamil Nadu based Christian pastor created a tense drama in a court on Monday, as he shouted slogans and claimed that the resent historic judgment of the Supreme Court to decriminalise homosexuality would lead to natural calamities.

Father Felix Jebasingh of Puliyakulam Church, who was present in the district court seemed unhappy over the recent apex court judgement. Terming the judgement as a “great sin”, the pastor shouted slogans urging the people not to support gay marriages. According to Father Felix, Jesus Christ will be arriving down to the earth to punish the ‘evil people’ who decriminalized consensual gay sex.

“Please do not support the court judgment on Section 377 (of the Indian Penal Code (IPC)). The Jesus Christ is arriving. His arrival is imminent. These type of marriages will lead to total destruction of the society,” the pastor shouted as the police escorted him out. He further said, “God has destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah using fire and sulphur because they allowed homosexuality… don’t support homosexuality”. The pastor was incidentally referring to the Sodom and Gomorrah, notoriously sinful cities in the biblical book of Genesis, destroyed by sulphur and fire.

Pastor Felix Jebasingh, 29-year-old belongs to of Periyar Nagar near Puliyakulam and is attached to Puliyakulam Church of Pentecostal mission. Reportedly, the pastor was arrested by the local police and taken to Race Course police station. A case has been registered against him under Section 75 of the Tamil Nadu City Police Act for creating a public nuisance.

The Supreme Court of India in its historic verdict decriminalised homosexuality under section 377, making gay sex legal. A five-member constitutional bench had delivered the judgement, announcing that consensual sexual relationships between adults of the same gender in private do not fall foul of section 377 of IPC.

The judgement of the Supreme Court was not well received by the certain sections of the society, particularly by the certain section of minorities. Similar to the above incident, a news source called ‘The Milli Gazette’, representing Indian Muslims had called for the scrapping of the judgement and called it ‘a step towards self-destruction’.

During the hearing of the case, All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPBL) and Christian intervenors had come out to oppose scrapping section 377. The AIMPLB had asserted that homosexuality is a ‘sin in all religions’.

This may lead to a reduction in enforcement, destabilising the global marketplace," said the 2018 edition of the exporting Corruption report.
no direct connection, but an anecdote to highlight the deep-running malaise that afflicts us "sau mein se 80 beimaan" yindans - vasily mitrokhin, in the second part of his 'mitrokhin archives' has a chapter on India, in which iirc he tells about an incident wherein a KGB operative or some soviet official is said to have wondered once in a pvt meeting that this country (India) is astonishing, as/where it seems like virtually everybody is ever ready in line to sell himself off!

There is a viewpoint being pushed in many media circles that it is the RSS which is vehemently opposing the amendment to art 377. No one mentions or highlights the vehement opposition by the xtian godmen and the mullah brigade.
The RSS statement on Sec.377 is well worded and issued at the right time. There is no threat, no violence and no talk about "God will punish etc.". Morally RSS does not agree with the verdict (and most of the average Indians out there would be able to agree), but it not trying disrupt the rule of the law as well.
