TONY FADELL’S NEXT ACT? TAKING ON SILICON VALLEY—FROM PARIS
A PR fluff piece on Tony Fadell but nevertheless some interesting tidbits including as suspected Porat bibi's belt tightening at Chacha. The Mahdi act was just cruel.

X-post from IA thread Guys, I don't know if you have read Rachna Bisht Rawat's books but she writes with a great sense of humour and pride for our armed forces. She is married to a serving Indian Army officer too. A refreshing change from the usual Shobhaa De & Arundhoti Roy type trash most English ...

FIL came 2nd in his age group again - 1st one was few weeks ago at a 10K where he came 771/3500 runners overall and 2nd in his age group (65-69). Yesterday he came 2nd in a 5K in the 60-69 age group. Hardy SDRE hillmen can beat the pants off TFPE goras any time.

ha ha, we run/cycle through such pollution on a daily basis, you billis have the luxury to sit out. Funny thing is I never had those issues commuting in Dilli for years - all the way from sooth Dilli to old Dilli & back every day. As soon as I moved to chi chi 1st world, all sorts of allergies and ...

Re: Nukkad
Mehta ji, you have still not gotten rid of your old BRF habit of posting long winded messages on every thread you are on. I think one admin (probably Singha) already warned you once not to do that and instead post a link to your FB where you have the full text content and just use relevant snippets ...

Re: Travel Diaries
At least back in the days, Rajinder da dhaba served 500% jhatka meat onlee. No idea what they do today. Both them and Al Kauser bring back memories of galauti kabab and kakori kababs. One reason why halal is so prevalent is becoz Muslims loudly insist on halal but have you heard any Yindoo loudly in...

Re: Travel Diaries
Years ago we went to Karim's in Nizamuddin with my family and another. There were four women in our group including two young girls. It was a difficult walk from the parking area to the restaurant, we were stared at by bearded young (and old) Malsis all the way. It was very uncomfortable. Vowed nev...

Maybe that's why FB bought WhatsApp. I still see the SDRE crowd use FB extensively - all PNPC, sniping type cultures will continue to use it I am sure.

Most of those 2 dozen or so flavours at Parathewali gali are not very flavourful unfortunately imho. Its more of a tourist trap I feel. We used to go there once in a while but our main go to place was Karim's near Jama Masjid. The original shop was one rickety establishment yet the food was awesome....
