Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
Are you saying there is "no difference" between the party of Saffron Terrorism/Communal Violence Bill/ 'Muslims have 1st Rights on Resources'/EJ NGOs vs. the party whose environment minister supported a SC-proposed ban on crackers in Delhi during Diwali? Harshvardhan maybe a doctor and maybe an hon...

To where Congress? As much I may dislike modi for not doing anything so far, I would not go to cimalsi appeasers Again, it's not black or white. Believe it or not most people aren't die hard voters (yes there is a chunk who are but they are a minority). Most would vote depending on their perception...

Re: The Great Indian Political Drama - Oct 2017
Lol. I see some of the folks discussing 'Hindu sentiment' all of a sudden, who previously poured out copious, pious advice, defences, justifications, excuses etc regarding why its a bad idea in NDA-2. Suddenly gone woke, seems like. I have little expectation from Modi sarkar now, on anything that c...

Sorry but I have to say, not everything is chanikian.ArjunPandit wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 1:19 am^^My few thoughts on this
4. However, this might turn out to be chanikian and may reduce the dhimmification of hindus
Plain stupidity by BJP. What is surprising is modi/shah not realising that his core voter base is slipping away each day.

RM, what is this wealth tax you keep speaking about? If I have 1 crore in my account I need to pay tax on it every year?
I agree there are issues with GST but I don't think the solution is to dump it. The system for the first time ensures compliance of a society that is used to not paying any tax.

An outrage started by ToI that dalit beaten in rural Guj has crashed within 2 days after police completed investigation and trashed the report. Lol jetli tweaked the rates a bit.. Now cashews at 5% and almonds at 12%.. if you sell a mix with both you tax at 12%... even if that mix contains 1 almond. Looks like they really haven't thought about the practicality of these things. Someone sitting in an office has decided these numbers. But I'm ...

I don't think its going to be related to a welfare scheme aimed at the poor.
It's definitely something to do with the middle class. This was the section shouting the loudest and modi will want to signal that he's listening.

Pav Bhaji and Jalebi sellers in Mumbai have declared Rs 50 crore properties to Income Tax Dept This part is what is wrong with the country. Even the temple management issue is not that simple. There will be many questions but lest start with the first. To whom will the temple be handed over? I'm not sure who you are addressing but I'll be satisfied if hundi funds are uses for the temple and temple alone. Currently (some 85%) it is bein...

@Hari There's nothing to be thankful about. We are in the same boat. If your goose is cooked then so is mine. Jammu can be written off just like punjab
In both cases the greed to be in power is the reason. They should dump pdp in jammu jusy as they should have dumped akali in punjab. Both are a liability.

Temples are working as private trust IIRC. You need change in laws. This is a bigger fight and this may not be the right time when first 5 years are being focused on economy. right way is not about doing right all the time, but doing right thing at right time. Lets give them more time. I was talkin...

explain 'free temples'. currently majority trusts are installed by congress or has cong pasand people in charge whereas majority states are ruled by bjp. Free them now and shoot your own foot? I think free in the sense of not reallocating wealth from hindus to others. Some 85% of hundi wealth is re...

I have to say that Hari ji has a valid argument. Both can happen simultaneously, with the non-econonic development beinf done silently. The danger of putting off this until all vikas is complete is that, by the time we reach yhat stage, there may not be enough true hindus left. Every day we see thin...

Does seem to be a concerted campaign to sabotage train tracks. Authorities are not speaking to not cause panic? Very much so. The same happened in UP. This is why I fear for the HSR line. One such obstacle and there will be huge destruction and loss of life. It will be impossible to police the enti...
