It seems Opposition's 2019 strategy is taking shape to fight BJP. It is clear now that there is not going to be any combined opposition at national level in spite of all the noise being generated and they might continue to be generated to obfuscate. But in reality, The opposition strategy will be to make 2019 as 29 separate state elections with the best possible combination fighting BJP. It means we will see state level alliances which will be in best position to defeat BJP. Also, Congresss has realized that people's anger against them has still not subsided and so they will mostly be fighting alone and only in places where they are in direct contention with BJP i.e. Guj, Raj, MP, CH. But in States where Congress is not significant , we will see coming together of all regional satraps. Issues raised will be local too. Each state will play up grievances against a perceived hegemon. Secularism will be downplayed as it consolidates Hindu votes. Only economic issues like Farmers, jobs, etc. will be national issues raked up but not dominant theme. Dominant theme will state level identity fissures. Hope will be that BJP will be forced to fight multiple state level battles instead of Modi vs ALL that they are salivating for. I am not sure what BJP's stratgey will be to counter that. May be they are still formulating that. If Modi is thinking that he will go to electorate with his achievents alone, then he is in for rude shock. They have to come up with some some national narrative which will unify Hindu votes above caste divisions. 2019 will be interesting for sure.

CJI impeachment motion back on opposition table
If this notion is entertained, it will be the most injudicious move that'll further incapacitate our democracy. It all started with the 4 Judges who made a public display of judicial impropriety, whether politically motivated or not is for them to answer.

his right limb is gone..bones & muscle, tendons are visible. It will take many hours of plastic surgery in a good centre to get some function of hand back.
A crude bomb was hurled at him as tried to stop rioters.
Welcome to WB..this year mammoth procession of armed Hindus in saffron came out in Raniganj, Barasat & many sensitive places.

I am not sure what BJP's stratgey will be to counter that.
Such a scheme, I am sure would have enough number of leaks which can be utilised by BJP. If fighting the BJP is given to the head-honcho of each state, that itself would lead to chaos. I don't think many state level parties can keep on crying that the central government bullied them. Yes there would be constant whiners like CB Naidu @ AP, but don't think every other state can say this. Especially when many big states (like MH, UP etc.) are already under the firm grip of BJP. Such a scheme would be a more like a redux of the 1857 Sepoy Mutiny :). There were lots of mutinies, and individual deeds of good fighting etc. But the Sepoys had a big problem. Their leaders were all Native Indian Officers, who did not know how to plan and fight battles beyond their Coy. level. They tried to get such leader in the senile Bahadur shah Zafar. Even if this scheme is put to place now, there has to be an Bahadur Shah (Indian National Congress) controlling the Native Officers (regional parties) and trying to mentor and keep them motivated. The BJP then would be like the East India Company's Army; who had real battle experienced general officers & field officers who can identify the big picture and plot accordingly.
Indrad wrote:CJI impeachment motion back on opposition table
This too would pass :). The procedure for impeaching a judge is not easy like living at other's cost in the Polit Bureau. The current opposition parties will never be able to make any headway in this, as they would not have the numbers. This would be just like the "no-confidence motion" which folks like CPI(M) are trying to bring up.

Sad to see this :(. Has it been identified on who hurled the bomb? Is it the Hindus or the peacefool protestors? I did not see this incident getting very high mention in the MSM (which is an indication of peacefool involvement).

F.No 1-3/2012/EE-4 dated 14th March 2018.

This is the letter number of the order issued by Ministry of HRD, Dept. of School Education and Literacy addressed to Edu. Secretaries of all states & UTs. The gist of this order is that the state & UT governments should recognize the courses conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). The Sangh organisations were operating many schools under this scheme, especially in the tribal belts. States like WB & KL had issued show cause notices to such schools asking why they should NOT be shut down.

This order from the Central Govt. clearly instructs the state governments to recognize such establishments as schools under the RTE Act 2009.

Totally agreed. Taint him enough so he can recuse himself from these cases. I initially assumed this was started by the commie parties. But according to Majid Memon (NCP), the main signatories for this was zero loss Sibbal and CON slave Nabi Azad

Not necessarily. In 2004 ABV was BJP's candidate, the opposition had none. Now unlike Modi ABV was universally liked, not many disliked him. With Modi, people are polarized between those who like him vs. those who really dislike him! Lot of people will be voting because they don't want Modi as PM.

For all those who claim DeMo was a failure, Namo timing it just in time for the 2019 elections. This is going to be a nightmare for congress and aaptards
https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/busin ... 36271.html
Deregistered companies don't want to claim their assets worth Rs 37,500 crore
Under Section 248 of the Companies Act, about 2.97 lakh were deregistered by the government in a drive to weed out defunct companies on various grounds of compliance.
Only 60,000 companies came forward wanting to be reinstated, the ministry official told Moneycontrol.
“The other companies didn’t come forward in the fear that they would not be able to justify how they own the assets,” another official said.
How much time will the govt give those companies before confiscating the amount?
The Prime Minister’s Office is expecting to unearth illegal deposits worth Rs 3 lakh crore and has directed the Income-Tax department and MCA to work together to ascertain such deposits.
Hope this happens before GE 2019.
The Income tax department is planning to take action under the black money law against companies who have failed to come up and claim the bank deposits.
And the govt is still planning to take action even if the companies are letting go of the money. Unless the companies are benamis with fake people and fake addresses, the owners are in trouble.

And UPI transactions are now half of mastercard and visa. No greater proof of success of DeMo.

The shenanigans of Cambridge Analytica

The business model of CA explained by whistle blower Christopher Wylie in front of British MPs.

"Part of business model of SCL (CA's parent company) is to capture a government, win a election...it felt like privatized colonizing operation.

That's how they make a lot of their money".

Exclusive: The inside story of what Cambridge Analytica actually did in India

Exclusive: The inside story of what Cambridge Analytica actually did in India

SHIVAM VIJ 14 hours ago

Alexander Nix and others of SCL Laboratories tried working in India on a project in 2011, but it collapsed in 2012 as Nix’s secret plan was accidentally outed.

New Delhi: Cambridge Analytica, the controversial UK political consultancy, claims on its website that it worked on the Bihar assembly elections in 2010, and its clients won a landslide victory.

Formed in 2013, Cambridge Analytica’s parent firm is Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL). It has worked in India through an Indian company called Strategic Communication Laboratories Private Limited. Company records show the firm has four directors: Alexander James Ashburner Nix, Alexander Waddington Oakes, Amrish Kumar Tyagi, and Avneesh Kumar Rai.

The first two are British citizens who were among the four co-founders of SCL in the UK in 2005. Amrish Tyagi is the son of Janata Dal (United) leader K.C. Tyagi. He also runs the firm Ovleno Business Intelligence, which now works with Cambridge Analytica in India.

But who is Avneesh Kumar Rai, the fourth director of SCL India?

Hailing from Bihar, Rai has been working as an election consultant with politicians across party lines since 1984. He is so low-profile that the internet will barely tell you anything about him. In an interview with ThePrint, he narrated his full account of how SCL India started, what it tried to do, and why it failed.

A 2009 mystery

For the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Rai was working with BJP leader Mahesh Sharma, currently the minister of state (independent charge) for culture. Rai was dead sure that Sharma would win the Gautam Buddh Nagar seat, but lost by a margin of fewer than 16,000 votes to the Bahujan Samaj Party’s Surendra Singh Nagar.

Rai couldn’t understand why Sharma lost the seat, and was telling a London-based friend about the mystery. The friend suggested he should get experts in political behaviour from the UK to come down to Gautam Buddh Nagar and find out. This is how Rai got in touch with Dan Muresan, head of elections at SCL UK.

Muresan, a Romanian national, came to India with another three experts from the Behavioural Dynamics Institute. This institute had been founded by Nigel Oakes in 1993. Oakes and his brother Alexander Oakes later became co-founders of SCL with Alexander Nix.

Muresan’s team conducted interviews through translators in the Jewar Vidhan Sabha segment, the part of Gautam Buddh Nagar Lok Sabha constituency, where the votes for Sharma had been unexpectedly low.

The month-long research included interviewing voters on video and then analysing the video for facial movements as they answered questions, to figure out if they were lying. The research found that people saw Sharma not as a politician or even a doctor, but a rich businessman (he owned a hospital in Noida, which has now grown to a chain of hospitals across northern India). Sharma had failed to show people any development dreams, make any specific promises, and only vaguely said he would serve them.

Sharma had an associate, also a Brahmin like him, but he was so disliked by some Brahmins in one area that they decided to vote for the BSP candidate just to spite him. Also, Brahmin voters made so much noise about making Sharma win that there was a counter-consolidation of other castes. Faults were found in the way BJP workers campaigned – Sharma’s door-to-door campaigning was weak.

Rai was impressed by the London team’s methods, and Muresan said he was keen to do more work in India. They decided to continue the conversation.

In 2010, Rai says he was working with a few candidates in Bihar. When not busy with elections, Rai used to work with a family friend, Amrish Tyagi, on business intelligence – mainly detecting counterfeit medicines in the market for pharma companies.

One day, Muresan came down to Delhi with Alexander Nix, and met Rai in the office of Ovleno Business Intelligence. Tyagi was present too, and was involved in the conversation.

Muresan knew that Rai had been involved in creating a database of households in many states, profiling them with their demographic details (including such details as their caste) and their political preferences. Such a database is a goldmine for any candidate contesting an election.

Muresan and his team proposed expanding the project and creating such a database for 28 seats, with an eye for selling them to parties and politicians for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, which were about four years away. Rai proposed creating a mobile app to make the database easily accessible to clients.

Rai says the SCL team never went to Bihar, nor did any work in the Bihar elections. It was Rai who, in his individual capacity, worked with around 27 candidates from different parties (on either side of the political divide).

Claims of having worked in Bihar 2010, and other elections such as Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in 2003, were added to the SCL’s powerpoint presentations to make a stronger sales pitch. He has shared one such presentation with ThePrint. This was Rai’s own work.

Around the same time, in 2010-11, SCL UK was contracted by a political party in Ghana to do a campaign for them. Surveys of English-speaking people in Ghana would arrive at Rai’s office in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Through Ovleno Business Intelligence, Rai and Tyagi had thus begun working with Nix’s company.

The survey data would be analysed by a team in Ghaziabad, which would then give feedback for the campaign narrative the party in Ghana should adopt.

Looking for a client

Work on the project began in 2011. Nix and Muresan would often come down to Delhi, as would their staff from London. For the staff, a house in Indirapuram’s Shipra Sun City was rented.

Nix and Muresan, along with Rai and Tyagi, started meeting politicians, selling them their services. These were:

What we have:

– Local knowledge and global expertise

– Global reputation and expertise – credibility

– Software for political intelligence & election management

– Android application for organisation and election management where information can be updated in real time on mobile

– Access to the foremost behavioural change communications methodology in India

– The complete package – ‘A to Z’ of election Management services

Caste research
Voter demographic data collection and analysis
Behavioural polling
Media monitoring
Target audience analysis – campaign strategy
Campaign consultancy – strategy and intervention management
Poll planning & management
According to Rai, the team met top politicians in both the Congress and the BJP, though he refuses to share any names. Crucially, Nix insisted on taking on the Congress as a client because he argued that as the ruling party, it would have more money.

Congress leaders showed interest, but never commissioned any work or signed any contract. The SCL team decided it would first show what it was capable of. It decided to create databases of voters in just four Lok Sabha constituencies — including Amethi, Rae Bareli, Jaipur Rural and Madhubani — and gift them to Rahul Gandhi for free.

Nix also met a top BJP leader who “slept through” the presentation. “He (Nix) was obsessed with Congress, Congress, Congress. He wasn’t interested in the BJP. He wanted to gain access and meet everyone in the Congress, show them our presentation,” says Rai.

Work began in Indirapuram. For 2-3 months, SCL UK’s team trained Indian field surveyors in what to ask voters and how to feed the answers directly to the mobile app. The stuff about demographic details was simple, but understanding their political behaviour was complex.

Some things didn’t add up

During the training, Rai observed something strange. The surveyors were being taught to ask questions that made it sound like it was an anti-Congress campaign. “The questions were designed not to make people simply tell who they vote for, but to make them dislike the Congress party. I found it odd that they wanted to earn a contract for the Congress but actually campaign against the party,” says Rai.

One day, Nix arrived with new smartphones from the United States, with an app designed by someone else. Nix said this Android app was cheaper and better than the one Rai had designed and created in India. “It had only a few more questions, that’s all. The app was no different. It was a copy of what I had created.”

Work began with this new app, and eventually Amethi and Rae Bareli were mapped.

The penny drops

One day, an Indian-American of Gujarati origin came down to oversee the project. Rai does not remember her name, but overheard one of his researchers ask her if she was from the Behavioural Dynamics Institute or SCL UK. She replied, “I am from the client’s side”.

That’s when the penny dropped: there was already a client and it wasn’t the Congress.

Who was the client? The Gujarati-American replied it was an Indian businessman in the United States who wanted to see the Congress defeated. She refused to name him.

Rai confronted Nix with this information. “I told him if you have a client who wants to see the Congress defeated I am ready to work on that. I have no party affiliations or ideological leanings. But I found it unacceptable and unethical to ask the Congress for work and money while trying to defeat them in the same project,” says Rai.

Nix had a straightforward reply when his deceit was exposed: “I am here to make money.”

Rai then demanded to see the raw code of the mobile app Nix had brought in. “We had agreed before starting the work that the database would stay on Indian servers. I wanted to see the code and be assured that it was not being stored on US servers,” he says.

Unsurprisingly, the servers were based in the US. Nix then wanted to take the raw data on smartphones back to London, which Rai refused to allow.

A death in Kenya

“Since I wanted transparency, I insisted on signing a memorandum of understanding that would clarify things,” says Rai. He insisted he needed Muresan to be stationed in Delhi since he trusted him. Meanwhile, the project came to a standstill.

Muresan had gone away to Kenya to work on the campaign of deputy prime minister Uhuru Kenyatta. With the SCL’s help, he became prime minister again in 2013. He was re-elected to the post in 2017, when Cambridge Analytica’s work for him became deeply controversial.

Work slowed down as Rai began independently working for individual politicians in the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha elections in 2012. Negotiations dragged on between the two sides for much of 2012, and Rai insisted work could begin full swing only if Muresan were to join him in Indirapuram.

Bad news came from Kenya one day: Muresan had been found dead in a hotel room. The public story was that he had died of a heart attack, but Rai overheard SCL UK staff suggest he had been murdered. “I got the impression that he was two-timing there as well, just as Nix wanted to make money from the Congress while he was already taking money from an anti-Congress client.”

(After Muresan’s death, his job went to another young man, Christopher Wylie, who is now at the centre of the controversy around Cambridge Analytica and Facebook. Wylie turned whistleblower and has recently wondered if Muresan was murdered)

By this time, the project had collapsed. The Indian-American client withdrew from SCL since they had been unable to get any data from Rai.

Besides, Nix was turning his attention to bigger things, transforming SCL’s elections branch into Cambridge Analytica, and looking at the US market.

Rai and Tyagi went their own ways professionally. While Rai still does his voter profiling, Tyagi and his Ovleno Business Intelligence have evidently continued working with Nix’s Cambridge Analytica.

ThePrint reached out to Mahesh Sharma, Amrish Tyagi and Alexander Nix for their comment for this report but there was no response until the time of publishing. The report will be updated with their response.

Cambridge Analytica whistleblower names Congress as their client. Look around. The 'evolution' of Rahul, manufactured caste/language violence, fearmongering around FRDI, cheque book rules etc - think of how many of these may have CA involvement. Look up what they did in Kenya.

Good. Now that the cat is outta the bag, CJI has no reason to tolerate psec pressures in the RJB case.

Render verdict sans fear or favor - no secret which way it will go if it is indeed an impartial verdict.

It all depends whether Ekal Vidyalayas were affiliated under the NIOS scheme. If that is not the case, this order would not save them. The RTE Act has one provision which actually encourages every child between 1-14 years to have education at a recognized school (be it state, or central board, or NIOS). The aim is to get away from any form of home schooling etc. The Sangh also highlighted this aspect, when state governments tried to close down schools (which in principal was against what the RTE act wanted).

If you have sources in WB, please share the circular number and check if things have changed on the ground. My information is from Sangh sources in KL, and from them I also came to know that the same may be applicable to WB as well. It is a pan-India order. In KL, nothing is now heard on closing any schools :).

Article 124 of Indian Constituition has Sec.4 which talks about removing the CJI. It stipulates..
(4) A Judge of the Supreme Court shall not be removed from his office except by an order of the President passed after an address by each House of Parliament supported by a majority of the total membership of that House and by a majority of not less than twothirds of the members of that House present and voting has been presented to the President in the same session for such removal on the ground of proved misbehaviour or incapacity.
Useless idiots like Yechuri of CPI(M) would not be able to get over the bolded & underlined part. They can try their drama in Rajya Sabha, where the monopoly of the opposition is slowly diminishing. But in Lok Sabha Yechuri & his commie riff-raffs are a clear minority.
Trilobite wrote:With Modi, people are polarized between those who like him vs. those who really dislike him! Lot of people will be voting because they don't want Modi as PM.
Things may not be so much black & white. Sure there would be groups, or communities who would just NOT vote for Modi. But there would be others who would also do just the opposite. This kind of analysis would already have been done by every party. Secondly, there are also voters who don't have hatred to any leader or ideology who may actually evaluate the cost benefits and then decide. Such voters can be influenced through well planned campaigns. Lastly, there are many voters who have seen the Khichdi governments by the various commie/socialist outfits (Humble Farmer, Chandrsekhar etc.) and how much of unity they had, and how long did they last. Each voter can be asked on whether they want a stable government at the centre, or a very shaky one formed by folks who have one Lok Sabha MP and others who cannot even get their nominees into Rajya Sabha and now reduced to begging INC to help them out.
Hari Seldon wrote:Good. Now that the cat is outta the bag, CJI has no reason to tolerate psec pressures in the RJB case.
We still don't know the thought process of the CJI yet. And I have seen comments across the board that he favours the BJP, as well as he is also "secular". Mean while the champion of "seculars" may stop appearing the the RJB case as per ToI; Kapil Sibal’s absence in Babri case stokes speculations. It’s temporary, say litigants .

Do you know how many times has the Constitution been Changed ?

Nehru 16 times
Indira. 31 times
Rajiv. 11 times
Sonia ( MMS) 6 times

If the dynasty does,
It is need of the country,
but when other party does,
It is murder of the democracy
and insult to Ambedkar.

1. cunningly Modi-supporters hide defunctness of Modiji.
.
How Dear Audience,

You can see how cunningly Modi-supporters hide defunctness of Modiji by blaming someone else in RSS for mess Modiji is making.. Pls see https://bharatganrajya.com/viewtopic.ph ... 9470#p9470
Chandragupta: HRD ministry is utter and total failure. http://www.dnaindia.com/academy/report- ... ms-2293511 ... " @pras4net Amazing fraud as PM !! More than 7000 non minority schools in MH facing/faced closure due to #RTE .... "

abhijit: I was just couple of days back speaking with person from Latur and familiar with surrounding districts in MH and he was literally mc bc DF gov and bjp for shutting down schools in villages (or not preventing this, from happening is my opinion). "where kids of poor people will learn now?" was the question.
Its more than clear to everyone in India that Modiji has refused to bring changes in RTE using money bill or joint session. And it is Modiji who is harassing Hindu school owners using RTE via CMs and Central HRD Minister. And it is Modiji who is forcing them to hand over schools to RSS-leaders or Missionaries. But resident Modi-supporters cover this by creating a FAKE scene that ONLY DF or HRD minister and only RTE law is responsible for this , and not Sri Modiji !!!

Their game is --- "see the mess Modiji is making !! Well it isnt Modiji --- it Jetley or DF or HRD Minister or ghost or ghauls or just bad luck or congress rule of past 60 years or British rule --- anything , but not Modiji. So pls keep voting for Modiji and then Yogiji etc"

In past 3.5 years, Modiji has ruined 1000s of Hindu schools owners and worse will happen if Modiji comes back in may-2019. So solution I propose to ALL nationalists is that using twitter/FB , newindia.in/causes and other means, pls let us all work to create an alternative to these defunct SoMoke

2. Demo is proven failure. If not, why dont you ask for Demo?
.
Dear Demonetization-rakshaks

Most of the unclaimed assets of rs 37000 crores are NOT cash deposited after 10-nov-2016. They are total assets. Its because many companies lie in zombie state -- owners have died, children have moved to USA, and some have died without children etc. It is similar to billions of rupees lying unclaimed in savings account across India. Pls get a number on amount deposited after 10-nov-2016 and before 1-jan-2017 in this Rs 37000 crore. ONLY that amount is doubtful black money. Rest is all unclaimed money --- not any demo achievement

And pls dont show work in progress now. So instead of showing Rs 3 lakh crore deposits, pls ONLY show how much was actually confiscated. It has been over 16 months now and one full income tax return deadline passed after demo. So if money was dirty, fines and confiscation should have been issued. How much money was obtained?

And increase in card/paytm etc transaction has NOTHING to do with demo. Across world, e-payments are rising. Highest increase has been in china, and they never had a demo. And in India, now as we speak, "cash only no reciept or kachhcha receipts only" transactions are rising leaps and bound. The shop owners flatly say --- "bill book printing mein he , pacca bill chahiye to kal kharid ke le jana " (I have given bill book for printing. So if you want pucca bill, pls come and buy things tomorrow) !!

And reason why small notes circulation has increased is because demo-2 of rs 2000 notes is feared. So hoarders are keeping small notes. And as result, quality of Rs 100 notes in banks have worsened !! Because all good Rs 100 notes are making way to hoarders.

Demo has earned a huge money to those who did notebadli at high level and did NO good to anyone else. And who did highest amount of notebadli ? Were they nationalist leaders or secular leaders? Well, which leaders controlled bank managers back then? Both leaders have party workers who can get 1000s of slum dwellers with signed cheques and signed withdrawal slips . But co-operation of bank manager is needed to do notebadli at large scale. Why dont YOU ask people on ground which leaders were most active in notebadli - nationalist leaders or secular leaders?

Now pls note that I am NOT accusing any leader or any party. I only used words nationalists/secular and I didnt say congress or rss and dint take any leader names. If a common does notebadli, it is usual financial crime, but if an apex leader does notebadli, it is treason. And so accusing apex leaders of notebadli is same as accusing them of treason, and I will NEVER make such allegations on BRF.

3. GST collection low, electricity growth low, how come growth rate is so high?
.
Dear GST-rakshaks and growth-rate-gloaters,

GST collection for feb-2018 was Rs 85200 crore, much below break even point for taxes it subsumed. And electricity production growth rate for feb-2018 wrt feb-2017 was mere 2.7% . China has higher electricity production growth. So Indian economy is NOT good shape. How come growth rate is so high? If growth rate is 7%, then should GST collection be much HIGHER than sep-2017? and should electricity growth rate too be close to 7%? Well, I will leave to experts.

4. Coming soon --- something better than notebandhi and GST !!

Modiji''s favorite is eWayBill System. It was supposed to come from 2-april-2018, but now they have been postponed to 18-april-2018. Modi-supporters say that eWayBill System will benefit small manufacturers etc !! My claim is that eWayBill System drafted by Modiji will totally crush small / medium factories/business and transporters. So imo, nationalists should start acting via FB/twitter etc as soon as possible.
