Re: Moderator Nominations
That's easy - singhasur and Raja Bose saars the moment they join here ...
Aside from that - yagnasri garu is a lawyer, balanced indiv and a good person.
Primus has done the mod job before.

Re: Moderator Nominations
Dileep ji,
My history with BRF goes back to about 2004,but I was a lurker till about 2012 and even then mostly reading posts from more learned people. And since I'm not one of the famous people and unlikely to get any nominations, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for being a moderator.
I have plenty of experience with running forums (I used to run some gaming forums when I was at university. After that I ran a website called proton River where politics and economics were the point of discussion. So I have experience with the forum software.
It would be an honor to serve here and help chart the course of the discussion boards.

Re: Moderator Nominations
As I posted in other thread, let the nominees be decided and then we can all conduct a poll. Number of moderators can grow as discussions and members grow.
Re: Moderator Nominations
Can we get the voting feature available and use that to vote for nominees once we have enough?
Re: Moderator Nominations
I will recuse myself from mod nominee for now due to changes at work. Will be in better posture to help out next year. Hope to be a active member for now
Re: Moderator Nominations

I am amazed at the speed and agility of the new founders
We are no longer homeless

Re: Moderator Nominations
If ppl are sensible there is hardly any need for mods
Most of the pureplay mil forums have little to no active moderation
Just be careful and prudent about politics and social matters

Re: Moderator Nominations
Less moderation is best moderation I will nominate anyone who is willing to wield an equal length stick for all things 'wrong'
Re: Moderator Nominations
no mods policy sounds nice but humanity is not there yet. we need danda to stay in line.
Dileep saar, please check mail.

Re: Moderator Nominations
Maybe a mix of the veteran mods and new ones (to learn the trade) would be good.
Not to put anybody under the bus, but I would vote for Rahul M, Karan, Suraj, Ramana (I really liked his mod methods, quiet but strong when required).
I'd volunteer but I just had an addition to the family (SHQ will kill me). And I despise confrontation, so I don't know if I'd be good at the job. Still, happy to help if required.

Re: Moderator Nominations
Thanks. But please, no sir for me.
Re: Moderator Nominations
My humble suggestion....our "Bheesm Pitamah" of BRF, Ramanna Sir, should also be made a senior admin. of this forum.

Re: Moderator Nominations
If people like Singha and Rahul thinks they can come here and say "na na na, I am busy onlee, can't mod onlee" they are mistaken.
It is like the rule that "US born children can't enter USA on a visa". These guys CAN'T BE a REGULAR MEMBER here. At least for a couple of months.
I already added them to the moderator list, whether they like it or not.

I have some experience in moderation.Esp dealing with issues that got GDF killed.I volunteer.
Re: Moderator Nominations
I moderated 2 or maybe 3 forums in early to mid 2000s , mostly general chit chat, file sharing type. I can help if there are no other experienced people.
